WazINit - Beta Testing for Android
WazINit is helping people with digestive disorders & restricted diets find foods to eat!
Even if you have a long list of over 30 things in food that bother you (like our founder with Crohn's Disease), we offer a completely customizable profile to meet your needs. We know Digestive Disorders like Crohn's, Colitis, IBS, IBD, and Celiac can make finding food to eat a daunting task.
You can add any and all of the ingredients you're trying to avoid to your Ban List, it doesn't matter how obscure or how many!
After you're done adding to your Ban List, you simply scan the product barcode, and we'll provide you with simple results. We'll help you easily identify the ingredients and derivatives you're trying to avoid.
***Please note that this is the Beta Release for testing and you should expect to find some errors and bugs. If you're interested in helping us make WazINit the best it can be, we're providing a simple way to report issues and suggestions directly in the app.***
Very, VERY helpful. About time something like this came along.
This is great for helping me with my very sensitive lactose intolerance
I have been a vegetarian for almost 18 years. This app helps me reduce time and frustration in grocery stores and-out-and-about by showing me what's in my food. No more reading small labels to find one ingredient you can't eat, this so is a must have for people with dietary restrictions!
I saw this on fox 13 and I figured I'd give it a try and I really like this app it helpd me with my allergy to cilantro thanks!
This app will not let me register. Every time I've tried it gives me a generic error message of "Oops Something went wrong." Registration is required to use the app. I'm not a fan of apps that require registration to begin with and this malfunction renders it unusable. I have to ask, why is registration required?
Keeps telling me its not responding or has stopped. Also will not let me add banned ingredients because once again there is an error. Keeps kicking me out and I have registered. I actually got that far at least.
Considering this is a beta release, it's very polished. The menu is a little sparse and the database small, but the devs are very responsive. Looking forward to all the updates! Great idea for an app!
And i didnt skip anything
I did like the app until it keeps crashing now everytime I open it.
This app has huge potential. I'm constantly looking at the back of food labels, acting like I know what half the stuff means. Finally an app that can actually help with something and save me time vs. just wasting more of it.
I registered but the thing won't let me make a list of bad ingredients, i entered 16 ingredients twice and it just wouldnt work. So i will be deleting this time wasting app.
Needs allergy tracker! Track reactions, skin rashes, dandruff etc. For people like my husband.
Knew I had to avoid certain ingredients on my vegetarian diet. Wazinit made it easy. Simply scan and look for the smiley. Would like a few more features. It's a new app with frequent updates. Assume more are coming. Current app works great!
I like the idea of this but 2 things. 1: it don't save the items I add. 2: it crushes. Not every time but it does. Samsung S3 / android 4.2
App doesn't work.
I eat everything, but my vegan friends are much easier to please now that I have this app. Maybe it will have options for GMO foods or cosmetics in the future.
