Way of Life for Android
I loved the IOS version but this android version is a very poor brother. I paid for the app but still get adverts. The analytics very basic compared to the IOS version. Its only saving grace is that it one of only habit tracker that relatively easy to input data and allows you to record yes, no and n/a. Its too expensive for what it does. Improve and I'll up my rating.
After using the iOS version of this app, I can't recommend the Android version at this time. The Android version of Way of Life is incomplete and buggy. I will lcontinue using this app for now, because the iOS version is good—there's potential here. However, if you want a good habit tracker *right now*, I would recommend finding something else. I've noticed the developer is replying to reviews, which is a good sign. As soon as this version of the app reaches feature parity with the iOS version, I will happily give this app five stars.
Good use a widget. Thanks
It's great, but it's got some bugs that make the trend reporting function inaccurate.
I loved and purchased the full function in iOS version. But this, Android version, doesn't even count the success chain. Totally useless. It's like you guys are trying to sell an unfinished app.
I'd use it if it allowed increments in achievements. Or even just a partial achievement option, instead of just yes or no. There is no way to track how close you are to achieving the goal. For example, exercising for 50 minutes instead of an hour is very different to not exercising at all, and there's no way to reflect that. Without that option the app is useless for me.
Clean interface, smooth functions. I love the graphs! The customizable reminders are useful; for example, when I know that there's a time of day where it's hard to keep my habit, I set a reminder at that time to keep me on track. I also like that there are daily and weekly views.
Great idea, but way too expensive for what it does. I mean, I use feature-rich drawing apps that are half the price, and run on powerful and complex engines- whereas the working of an app like this is very simple. There is no reason it should be this costly. Make it cheaper and you'd have people running to buy this. Plus the fact that you put a 3 activity limit is a severe drawback for a free app- might as well just pull down the free version from the market instead. I like the app, but strategies like these piss me off and hence I refuse to buy this until you address these issues. And I really want to get it. No doubt it's a great app though.
Way of Life is so easy to use and really helps develop habits (and break bad ones)! You use the 'Journal' to choose from existing habits or create your own. These can be things you want to DO, or things to NOT do - you decide if they are good or bad. Every time you mark the habit as done, you get a green check. Break the habit, it's the red mark for you;-) Don't break the chain and let reminders help keep you on track. ,My favorite part of Way of Life is the Trend screen. Here you can check your progress using several styles covering 6 weeks, 12 weeks, 6 months and so on. Look at it based on percentage or number of actions. If you're diligent, these trends show you what's working and what's not. PS: the developer Lars Arendt is a great guy who cares about his customers and is very attentive to any questions or concerns. Real nice product and very nice people behind it!
Only lets you track 3 habbits. I think it would've been optimal if they would've let you track 5. With 3, my motivation on actually trying out the app is low.
This was the only habit app that worked for me. I like the colors and the fact you can skip certain days. A bit pricey but overall I think it's pretty good though I'm my opinion the IOS version is better.
Loved the IOS version, but the Android version doesn't do the business. I can't even get my backup from the IOS version to restore on the Android version. Meh
The free version is totally useless. It only lets you track 3 things!
I had this back on the iPhone 3GS years ago. When I couldn't find an equivalent app, I had to hand draw boxes on a whiteboard because the yes-no-skip design was so effective for me. Some users are saying it's missing features from the iOS version, but to me, it's 90% of what I remember and works just fine (just that the colors could be nicer). This beats any other productivity app due to its speed, simplicity, and ease of use. I've tried many others and they were all either unpolished /abandoned or too cumbersome from tons of features. I don't need to sit there and input each exercise I did (that's what MyFitnessPal is for). I just tap "Gym" tap "Yes" and that's it. Pretty standard, but what makes the app great is this: If I work out every other day yet always take off Sundays but still need at least 3 workouts a week and something came up and I just couldn't go that 3rd time on Saturday...I tap "Skip" and it's good. Most other productivity apps would struggle with incorporating the unpredictable human element into it. I'd also highly recommend Any.Do for a to-do list app. The two compliment each other very well (it has 4 lists you can easily move tasks around in: today, tomorrow, upcoming, someday). About 15 different productivity apps have all fell on their face because they tried to be the "all in one" type and I subsequently forget I ever installed them 2 weeks later. But these 2 combined can handle about 90% of my life. In short, I really really like this app. I've hand drawn the yes-no-skip method when this app wasn't available to me. Ive recommended it to many friends over the years and they've all liked it. It's kind of expensive for what it is, but it's "buy once cry once" to me. Keep it simple devs. Awesome stuff.
Too costly and no sync facility with other devices
Tried to import from IOS, but it fails. Not happy.
Last update was nearly 10 months ago, if you want to know what the developers think of Android. Don't pay for this app
The reminder function does not seem to work
I really love. You can track a lot of habits you want to develop
Fastest uninstall ever. Have to pay to track more than 3 goals lol
Terrific approach to adding discipline.
No backup in free version. ????
Great app!
Dumb App
Coach Me is far superior
Really great app. But the premium version is £5. Come on make it cheaper and everyone will buy it. I have several devices so can't spend £5 for each one.
I used this app on my iPhone for the last year and a half. Now that I have an android device I'm delighted to still be able to use it. I love the simplicity of the app for tracking habits and the ability to make notes daily. The graphs to visualize your progress over time are great and can cover 2 years. I have tried other apps for habit tracking but this one is by far my favorite
So many other apps are complicated and I don't have time to really learn how to use it. I love this app because it's simple and I get on with tracking my goals easy.
Downloaded it after seeing somebody rave about it on LinkedIn. Had it installed for a grand total of 10mins, absolutely no instructions. No idea how to input anything, successfully made a title of a habit but no idea how to add data. Useless so deleted it. Will look for an app that's much more user friendly.
Cluttered, uncomfortable and ugly. There are tons of better tracker apps out there.
Simple to set up, quick to use on a daily basis, and provides great trending data over time which has been great to help keep me accountable. I like to keep track of lots of different things a time but only work on changing a few things. I would definitely recommend it :-)
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Great app! Support were able to help me with any issue that I had. Bought premium after coming from premium version on iPhone. Restore from Google drive did not work. After contacting support, they were able to assist me with getting my old backup from iPhone to work.
This app has totally turned my life around. It's made all my goals attainable and empowered me. I recommend it to people I talk to almost every day. :-)
Absolutely wonderful app in its simplicity for building and breaking habits. I used it a few years ago on iOS and I am happy that there is now an Android version.
So happy this is finally on Android!! I used it on iPhone all the time and really missed it
Great app with a smooth interface. Rated 3 (as opposed to a possible 5) because the Premium Android version lacks several of the features from the iOS version- including basic feature like password-lock, data export via csv, habit streaks (chains). Hope the developer will be able to address these.

I really like how simple it is to use.

The note does not work w Android phone. I emailed them but all they say was they're working on it. I paid for it twice too. W iPhone then thinking I can transfer the data to Android n continue but no. I have to start fresh plus now the note part doesn't even work.
