Hadits Qudsi salah satu jenis hadits dimana perkataan Nabi Muhammad disandarkan kepada Allah atau dengan kata lain Nabi Muhammad meriwayatkan perkataan Allah.Secara bahasa (Etimologis), kata القدسي dinisbahkan kepada kata القدس (suci). Artinya, hadits yang dinisbahkan kepada Dzat yang Maha suci, yaitu Allah swt. Dan secara istilah (terminologis) adalah sesuatu (hadits) yang dinukil kepada kita dari nabi Muhammad saw. yang disandarkan kepada Tuhannya. Secara sederhana dikatakan Hadist Qudsi adalah perkataan Nabi Muhammad , tentang Wahyu Tuhan yang diterimanya secara langsung , tanpa perantaraan malaikat (Jibril). Simply said Hadith Qudsi are the sayings of Prophet Muhammad, on God's Revelation received directly, without the mediation of an angel (Gabriel).
