About Cpu Float

CpuFloat is a floating app which monitors several key pieces of system information so you can monitor your device without leaving the application you are using.

CpuFloat monitors:
• Cpu frequency
• Cpu temperature
• Gpu frequency
• Gpu load; not normalised
• Gpu temperature
• Time awake and in deep sleep
• Battery current
• Battery temperature
• Network speed

Time
This counts the time your gadget has been active and in deep sleep, a battery friendly state. Sometimes apps don´t let your device go into deep sleep, this will shorten the battery time.

Temperature
If available the cpu and gpu temperature are shown. If not available you can choose the temperature sensor in the settings. This has been extensively tested on Qualcomm socs. On other socs this might not work as intended.

Cpu and gpu Trippoint
If the temperature gets higher than the trippoint temperature, it´ll turn red. You can change the value of the trippoint temperature in the settings.

Flexibility
You can choose what to monitor and where to show the floating window. CpuFloat can be a big vertical floating view with lots of information or a smaller, less intrusive horizontal view.

CpuFloat is a compact system tool with minimal permissions; vibrate, read sdcard, draw over other apps. There are no ads and it doesn´t use internet data.

Notice about changing app permissions on android M (6) and up :
Because of security reasons you can only change app permissions if there are no screen overlays or floating apps running, else you´ll get this error message:
Screen overlay detected.
To change this permission setting, you first have to turn off the screen overlay from Settings > Apps.

Just exit CpuFloat and try again, if it still doesn´t work, there´s another app using a screen overlay.

dont know why search for cpu monitor doesn't return this awesome app. But one question though, this app and cpu z and cpu x show the same cpu reading, but Kernel Auditor and 3c tool box show completely different readings, i mean real time cpu usage for every core, idk which app to trust.

I use this a lot when gaming. Extremely valuable, but I've just discovered that according to another app (System2), my processor temperature doesn't match up. The aforementioned app gets CPU temperature from mtktsproc whereas Cpu Float takes it from mtkts1. This isn't too big a deal since I do see something, but a benchmark I just performed showed that mtktscpu gets way hotter than mtkts1. I'd like to keep an eye on that! This has happened on two separate MediaTek devices.

you should enable cpu load also.

Just I don't like the floating screen showing all 8 of my cores . Would appreciate if developers can add CPU load rather than showing all the cores at once : big CPU load / small CPU load . Will look clean and won't take up that much space ? Bad idea ?

Should provide text color changing options. Expecting it in next ver. Bcoz it will help us match with the phones theme or wallpapers. Coz white always doesnt go good with all backgrounds.

Works great

Love it, but would be great if I could lock the horizontal view in the status bar so it doesn't move. Doesn't play well with the setting "drag across status bar to increase brightness".

This is the best cpu info and network speed tool I have tried. It shows as much or as little information as I want and can even be positioned in the status bar.
