Smart Guard

This application allows you to change your smart android phone or tablet to simple surveillance device.

Your phone or tablet will detect :
- movement in its camera view
- sound level above given threshold in its surroundings.
- device movement, by sensing its acceleration change in time.

- Information about detection can be stored in LOG file and send by EMAIL.
- Camera CAPTURES caught on movement detection can be stored in device memory and send by EMAIL.
- User can be notified about chosen detection type by simple BEEP alert.
- SMART GUARD monitor start can be delayed in time

Nothing but email receiver address has to be set by user after installation, but some setting can be adjusted if necessary :

What can be set for CAMERA detector ? (preview mode available)
- which camera should be used (if your device has more than one)
- time interval between compared video frames
- color level change sensitivity (could be useful for noise reduction in dark environments and low quality cameras)
- erosion filter block size (for detecting bigger objects only)

What can be set for SOUND detector ? (preview mode available)
- which microphone should be used (if your device has more than one)
- microphone sensitivity (to filter some noise)
- alarming sound level

What can be set for SHAKE detector ? (preview mode available)
- which acceleration axis should be checked (e.g. could be used for car braking-accelerating only)
- alarming acceleration level

What can be set as NOTIFICATION about detection ?

- LOG file updated and stored in device memory (labeled with detection DATE and TIME)

- video frame CAPTURES caught by camera stored in device memory (labeled with detection DATE and TIME)
-- it is possible to save all CAPTURES, every second, every third, etc...
-- it is possible to save only few first CAPTURES, or only few latest with above frequency

- BEEP alert raised on detection
-- three different BEEPs can be assigned for CAMERA, SOUND, SHAKE detectors
-- even for SOUND detector BEEP alert can be assigned but usually it will raise SOUND detector alert which will be again detected (good only for headphones or other external speakers, located in some distance)

- EMAIL notification
-- emails are sent only when something new is detected since previous email was sent
-- user can set time interval for sending emails with updated LOG file and new camera CAPTURES
-- only LOG file, or only camera CAPTURES, or both can be sent
-- sending camera CAPTURES is strongly related with camera CAPTURES saved on device - only new images which appear in device memory after given time period will be sent
-- no more CAPTURES than present in device memory can be sent in particular moment, but user can get less by email (to lower data transfer usage and costs)
-- all new images found in device memory can be sent or every second new or every third, etc...
-- few first new found and/or few latest new found can be sent for sure
-- email receiver HAS to be set by user
-- WASDOM SMARTGUARD account can be used as email sender (nothing to set)
-- users private sender account can be used (sending TEST email is possible to ensure the connection)

All users have to use it wisely knowing all restrictions resulting from used devices (e.g. battery life, stability, etc..), network connection (bandwidth, transfer costs, etc..), email service providers (servers availability, etc...).
