You really can take it with you. Sedona Arizona has 100+ trails. They cover forests, streams and red rock grandeur so you’ll need a guide. Sedona Hiking can be that guide. We supply trail descriptions, directions to the trail head, points of interest and the ability to follow your progress in real time with your GPS. Following the trails has never been easier. Now you can concentrate on enjoying the beauty of Sedona and not map reading or deciphering stacks of rocks. Load the Trail information into your Android device and “Take a Hike”! Here’s how it works: After you decide on the trails you’d like to experience you download the trails onto your device (with a network connection) and select them as you do the hike. Everything you need is in each hike package.
1. Highlights and features of the selected hiking trail.
2. Length and difficulty rating of the trail.
3. A detailed description of the trail and what you’ll encounter and experience on the hike.
4. Directions to the trail head or Google directions and map if you so desire and have network connection.
5. A trail map on screen that allows you to follow your progress and see your location in real time via GPS so you can be confident you’re on the trail.
6. There are trail markers for intersections to watch for and pictures of what is ahead on the trail so you don’t miss out on sights that might be slightly off the trail.
We have over 110 trails, that's 400+ miles of Sedona beauty!
We’ve hiked, recorded, and mapped all these trails ourselves. We gathered our trail data on the trail, not copied from various web pages like the Forest Service, or crowd sourced trail ratings found online. All our trails are hiked by us, tracks are recorded by us and verified by us, not downloaded from random hike web sites. So we think you will see the difference!
And we're the only Sedona Hiking App that shows your position on the trail in real time!
** Don't forget to enable GPS and select "Turn My Location ON" in the Hike Screen!
*** Beware some low power configurations can slow down or hinder GPS location updates. Won't show proper location on the trail.

I have used this excellent app twice while hiking in Sedona during two separate March Breaks. We are going to Sedona again this March so we will make use of it again. I would also recommend using it with an area map, Google Maps (you can download google maps onto your device so you don't need cellular access) or my favourite topo map app Gaia GPS. Again, you can download maps onto your device negating the need for cellular access.

Made our time in Sedona much more relaxing, efficient, and fun by helping us to find the right hikes and feel confident that we wouldn't get lost driving there and while on the trail. App navigation is a bit unusual, and interface is not the slickest but that is part of its charm. A worthwhile investment.

Great app design, intuitive features, a must have for hikers who like smartphones. This app sets the standard for hiking apps. Would love to see this app include maps for Prescott and other Arizona locations especially because of all the additional features that other mapping apps do not have.

Some books and webpages like to obscure the names of the hikes to get you to buy before you find out where and what the hikes are. The website compliments the app and the app works without any network access, which is critical. The combination of this app and a topo map really helped make our Sedona hiking vacation a success.

This is the app you want! Following trails is easy with this genius app. It makes hiking in Sedona so much more enjoyable because you don't have to use a paper map. All the trail information is on my phone so it's easy to take with us. The trail descriptions and points of interest are not too wordy, they are 'just right' which allows you to concentrate on the beauty of Sedona. I mean, that's why you are hiking....to enjoy the beauty! Good job with this app. Highly recommend this one!

This was fun to have a green dot tell me where I was on the trail. The key point information is very helpful for staying on the trail. No more wondering which way to go! My husband and I enjoyed the photos and looking for the same scenes along the way. We found the maps very precise and on target with the real trail. We had no idea there were so many trails to explore. This is so much more convenient than a hiking book, and cheaper! What a great resource we have found that will inspire me to go back and hike some more! Thank you!

This is an indispensable app for experienced and inexperienced hikers alike. I have personally hiked over a dozen trails around Sedona, and even though I am a seasoned hiker, I have had trouble trail - finding on many of these trails. Some of the issues include out of date trail books, poor trail signage, and unmarked trail intersections. This app keeps you right on the trail eliminating wasted time and much angst. This is the best $4.99 any Sedona hiker could ever spend!!

Great app - especially if you're a new visitor to Sedona and looking to do some hiking. Pair this app with an area map from a visitor center or the chamber of commerce and you should be set. The two used together make finding your way around much easier . The app itself worked flawlessly on my Android phone and judging from the few hikes we took, their hike descriptions are very good. Highly recommended, and probably the cheapest thing you will purchase during your stay in Sedona. Happy trails to all.
