SC Shanghai for Android
With 3G access available to most smartphone users out there, the usefulness of an app like this is completely dependent on how up-to-date it is, how much information it has, and how fast it works. Currently, it's just a list of places categorized by what they are (food, night life, bars, restaurants etc.), displaying their name, address, hours, and phone number. While many of the places named in the app are still around, many are not (Gourmet Cafe). And considering all that is needed is to copy the content available on Smart Shanghai and City Weekend, the listings should be a bit more comprehensive and current. That said, the app is really only necessary if you like the simplicity of having a fast way to access the places you constantly go to but forget the address. Realistically though, if you go to it enough times, you'll eventually learn the address and the one time you will need the app, the place won't be listed.
I want to visit Shanghai even more now!!!!
