About EcoReporters
Environmental issues. English. Budapest Learnathon.
What do they all have in common?
EcoReporters! Serbian English teachers won first place at the Budapest Learnathon organized by IATEFL... for those of you who don’t know: International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language.
Consequently, this winning team received a grant from the US Embassy! With tech implementation from Wanari, they realized their concept of innovatively teaching English through creating video reports on environmental issues.
Is it getting a bit clearer?
The fruit of all their hard (& might I add: non-profit) work is now at your fingertips. If you click on download, you will get a mobile app that simultaneously improves all four language skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening)!
Check it out!
(And send feedback, we would really love to hear from you!)
The ecoReporters app is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, and developed in partnership with the Regional English Language Office (RELO) for Central and Southeastern Europe, and IATEFL-Hungary. The Serbian ecoReporters team designed the winning proposal of the 2015 Social Responsibility through English Language Learning Mobile App Learnathon in Budapest.
