What is Walby? Walby is a cool offline travel app for Android devices. With Walby you can get:

Information about the city you are visiting such as local time, daylight saving time, calling code, type of plugs and socket used and more.

Cool offline map with gps position, thousands POIs such as bars, pubs, hotels, shops, discos, transports, monuments, attractions and many more. With the offline map you can create your personal point of interest, create routes or find the location of the most famous attractions or embassies.

A useful phrasebook with hundreds words and phrases with audio files to help you understanding the language of the city, and , why not, learning it!

An offline currency converter with 34 currencies and with the option to update currency rates if you have internet connection.

An offline underground map to create your routes, to find the shortest route to get to the most famous attractions or embassies in the city, to search for a specific underground station, to save your favorite routes.

Walby provides also the emergency numbers of the place you're visiting (police , ambulance, fire station ), with offline map getting your position, so you can quickly refer your position if you need. You can call emergency numbers without exit the app.

Walby also shows you pictures of plugs and sockets used in the city you're interested in, so you'll be able to know if you need an adapter for your charger and other stuff.

In the end, a useful list of embassies including their own phone numbers, street and email addresses. This is helpful in case you have lost your passport, or if you need to get to the embassy of your country. Then if you have internet connection, you are also able to send an email, or you can call your embassy without exit the app. (embassy phone number are not free of charge!).
