Wakeman - Free Chapter

In the first part of "Wakeman" trilogy, 13-year old local thief and a bully
Nick Wakeman undergoes a complete character reconstruction which starts
after he breaks into an old but not abandoned train station.
Apart from becoming a better person, Nick meets a phenomenally odd singing bird,
an eccentric old railway man in need of anger management course and a
rather scary-looking alien whose spaceship Nick destroys in a
combination of mortal panic and a navigational misunderstanding.
After a series of life-threatening experiences, Nick is reunited with his
loving twin aunts and finds out a secret which will take him on a
journey into deep space.
