Mobile Scan

This app makes your shopping trip take twice as long. The app does not allow you to add a shopping list. You have to keep jumping from app to app to see your shopping list and then to scan each item. Also, you have to bring your own shopping bags. Here's the big kicker...... You still have to wait on line to check out. They need to integrate the shopping list feature and allow you to link your ATM/Credit card so that you don't have to wait on line. Huge failure!!

4-19-17 - Wife and I have brand new LG G6 flagships, app fails to recognize bar codes. Wife's Samsung S5 worked OK for the last year and a half. We don't know if it is the new phones or Android Nougat that is responsible for the failure. Hopefully this problem can be rectified soon, as we love the app. I will try shopping with a Samsung tablet next trip to see if it works.

Getting an SSID error. Do you folks do any testing before releases?

You have to give this app access to the shopping list app so I don't have to keep from having to jump between the two apps. Or did I miss it in this app?

Worthless. App wouldn't connect to ShopRite Wi-Fi. Wasted my time.

It's crap don't waste your time.

Every time I've tried to use this app it tries to connect to the mobile network or the wireless, but it never connects.

App works great for me. I no longer have to wait for someone to bag my stuff.

Worked great, but it works best if you use the reusable shopping bags and bag as you scan.

If you guys want a good app for shopping, just clone the wegmans app.

Just used it in the new shop rite store in Lagrange. Very easy to scan and it was great to use BUT the interface is U G L Y, it's an ugly app. Another issue is there's no way to add a quantity of an item if you have multiple items. Then a huge con is there's no specific area to bag your items, here we are taking up two self service lanes trying to bag items. I don't know about this. Guys lol.

terrible app. it never connects to wifi, then times out, so you can't even use it. I really wanted to add e-coupons to Mr card...but NO. I give up on this POS app.

I downloaded the app before my store got wifi and it would never load. I tried again after my store got WiFi and it still won't work. It keeps saying looking for wifi and then times out. So I took it home and tried thinking maybe its the stores WiFi and it still won't work. I give up

It works really well, and makes waiting in line a thing of the past. I wish every store in the world used this technology. I love this app!

It's great to scan what I am buying with a running tally. I know how much I can spend on any given trip. Takes the ? work out so that I can concentrate on what's on my list! Try it!!!

Amazing! Need to solve the bagging to make it even faster to buy and go but from a technical aspect it's a flawless checkout lane in your phone

Not sure how much time it actually saves me if any. Maybe when checkout lines are hellatiously long otherwise maybe not so much. Flakey wifi at store causes apps to drop sometimes, and worse the store wifi restricts Internet access to other apps like email and Web browsing. Needs a totally separate app for digital coupons which blows. I've seen worse but this app feels like it is still in beta test.

The app on my phone connects to the wireless network in the store, but then the wireless network can't connect to the Mobile Scan server. Way to go, Shoprite! Don't bother with this app.

Excellent but make a small section on the main screen that always shows the barcode scanner do we don't need to push the button each time.

It only works over wifi?! It wont even let me see that app without connecting to a wifi signal. That makes no sense it should be my option if i want to use my data i have unlimited so its not a problem.

They said dont open the app till you are physically in the store, how do i know they use this app
