Droid Automation - Pro Edition

The app is great, but there's a problem with starting the music from Google music. It will not start the all as it did on my previous phone. If I add the option to start the app, it will, but won't do the play command

Pretty unreliable app. The low power mode doesn't work on Galaxy s8 even though it specifically says it's for Samsung only. The geofencing which is the main reason I bought it is a complete hit or miss and needs to be fix asap, and sometimes even when certain conditions are met, some profiles only half run. I don't recommend this app to anyone who is wanting it solely for the geofencing aspect until it if fixed. Good concept though.

This is a FANTASTIC app, works very well.......love it.

There are programs that will do more complicated things than this one, but this makes automating simpler things really easy. Took ten seconds to set autorotate on when opening Maps, for example, which about an hour of puzzling through the docs of another app failed to do.

Awesome! Much easier than Tasker. This single app has replaced 3 apps from my phone.. just imagine what you want to automate and this app does them all. There are a few tasks like start/ stop timer & show toast message that are to be added and hope developer will add it. Thanks to the developer for this super awesome app.

Such an amazing app and also very fun to play with. Works very well. I just wish there was more triggers.

Works well. Needs to have the option to have ANY or ALL triggers to fire the task. Without the ALL capability, the app fires the trigger more often than I want it to. Other similar apps have this capability.

Has a few issues Doesn't work properly with MIUI, has loads of options but my call volume still goes low on reducing the media volume. But the app had worked well before OS update.

Beautifully built, simple to use, I do wish the application could read text messages as I wanted to be able to have my friend's DJ in my car via text and have my phone play the song. Overall, would buy again

Very productive app. I would love to see extra trigger to react on notifications from other applications.

The app is okay and useful. I would like to save a profile and then use it on NFC tools (payment version obviously) and so be able to trigger a profile with a NFC TAG

Records macro steps into a single launch button that becomes a 1x1 widget you can place on your home screen! Finally I can combine numerous steps into a short cut! Cool

I used it so when I connected my phone to my car it created a wifi hotspot so my uber passengers can control my spotify

Lots of great options and features, but need help with questions and complex scenarios.

Almost perfect. Consider adding an option to select the calendar to write events to. Apparently the application picks the first one available in the calendar list, which happens to be a read only one on my device.

Stable Start of useful reminder control via autos. More involved issues could be avoided or awaited too Tasker or incorporated at Auto apps that provide into ease of the means. Also as a frame Droid Automation can begin as an approach too Tasker later on.

Very nice program that reliably does what it claims. Would like to see it have more ability to alter settings in the future. Nice work!

No sensor or NFC triggers, really disappointed because almost all the free alternatives for this app have those functions.

Great app ... Love it ... It would be great if application state trigger can also know when an app has been deactivated etc. I have this annoying (but useful) speed camera app when activate automatically to alert nearby cameras, and it becomes the foreground app, very annoying when I am navigating using Google map ... Can I somehow trigger to bring Google map back on top automatically if it is deactivated or being sent to back from other apps Please help ...

I really wanted to like this app but some triggers work sometimes and others not at all.

This automation app is pretty well designed and very easy to use compared to the others (e.g. Tasker). Unfortunately it just doesn't work as advertised. I have multiple triggers set by time of day; I can be watching the screen at, say, 08:57 and the profile clearly set for that time won't start. It also doesn't seem to complete the listed actions in order. I have to give up until this is fixed. And yes I disabled battery optimization for the app so it's not snoozed by the OS.

Poor. Hardly ever works. Profiles work the way they should but hardly ever automatically.

Just try/buy. It speaks for itself.

API support for third party apps to be able to call the execution of profiles.

My device is in 5.1 but still location based triggers never worked for me.. Update: As you suggested I tried with GPS on with High Accuracy.. But still no luck. I have a suggestion why don't you try to fetch location from network or cell id, I think those are more consistent than GPS.

My schedule-based triggers are not working. Perhaps it may be Marshmallow's battery optimization mode during sleep, but I'd rather have the app's developers experiment to solve the problem. Also, I would love Boolean logic in the triggers. I want to love this app, but I can't now. I just wish I knew of these issue before I upgraded to Pro.

Hai..app is good and working good.But must need a time delay task also..like screen off after 10 min automatically disabled wife...

So I set up a few tasks. Play music adjust screen brightness ect. Went for something a bit trickier tried to get it to send an sms automagically. Missed a step. Emailed dev and he responded really quickly telling me what i missed. Would buy app again. Will recommend to friends.

This has made my life so much easier. I LOVE it!
