Waitrose Pick Your Own for Android
Far easier to use than the main version . I hadn't changed my picks for months until I installed this. Useful app. One thing when I started and was asked to scan my "My Waitrose" card, there was just a red line on screen.Needed to key it manually. No biggie just feedback
The app connected ok, and shows what I've chosen easier than the website BUT having allergies, not just top 10 common ones, I need to check all ingredients before buying anything. No point adding nasty surprises to my discounts. Unfortunately the items just have a general description which will not help avoid Onions or even milk! Please add the options to chose allergen free items and put full ingredients lists so I don't have to go back on the pc to make all our choices again.
I've downloaded this twice now. Every time I scan my card (that function works) I then get a message saying "a problem has occurred, please try again". It recognises my card number but that's about it. Have read the comments, seems quite a few people have had the same issue. Pity.
Very disappointed. Forget to do this on my PC but was delighted to find the app. However have downloaded it twice, linked my card and all I get is "an error occurred, please try again". Very frustrating.
Card scanned first time, I updated my picks with ease. Definitely easier to use than on the computer, love having the app to hand on my mobile. Was too much hassle to update on the computer or in store before shopping. Hopefully will continue to work well.
...that we regularly buy. Plus the few the app recommended based on previous purchases were shown at regular price. Or is the 20% taken off at checkout?
At first the app worked perfectly. Then message appears, a problem has occurred please try again. Deleted app and downloaded again twice, problem still persisted. Went into my local waitrose, assistant tried to access on in-store iPad same message. Called waitrose customer services, their answer we will send you a new waitrose card. Ask myself is it really worth all the hassle.
Thanks for the reply but no, it doesn't help. My partner works in the technology industry: this is a *very* secure network. I resent the implication that it is either tampered with or open. Forget it; I uninstalled the app.
Useless! Doesn't list 90% of my regular items and they don't show when I search for them either. Not interested in most of the 'suggested' items. I just want to add my regular items, but cannot find them anywhere in this app, nor on computer version either.
Why isn't this part of the main Waitrose app and what is the whole point of choosing your own offers? Give me automatic discounts Waitrose not this contrived and complex "choice" please.
When I first installed this, there was a problem connecting to the server, which made the app pretty useless. However, that seems to have been fixed now and the app is a convenient way to change your choices.
I was really pleased to see there was an app that I could use to check my picks. However my excitement was dashed when I tried to open it....nothing just an error message. I continued to try and still nothing. I'm now going to remove the app from my phone.
Bit disapointed with a few exceptions it generally doesn't offer Waitrose own brand items for the 20% off. Which is a shame as I prefer to buy own brand goods.
App is good apart from i have to uninstall the app and re install it every month to change my choices. Bit of a pain.
Absolutely seamless - easy to browse the offers, amd add and remove items. Only thing that would improve it is if you could note which items were currently on offer already (e.g. part of a BOGOF offer).
The app is great, the only problem is It doesn't have the option to choose just from the organic products.I buy organic for my baby and have to go through all the products to select the organic ones.
All I keep getting is 'a connectivity problem occurred. please try again '. That's 15 minutes wasted this morning then.
Same problem. Card won't scan. Enter number manually. Accepted and then apparently a problem has occurred. Tried reinstalling twice more with no result. Pick your own is very frustrating. Too complicated.
Crazy scheme. Takes too long. Drop it.
As soon as the card number is added, the message an error occurred appears
Each time I get to the maximum on my changes for each month it gives me a date when I can make new changes, however in order to action this I have to uninstall and reinstall the app. Any reason why this is?
Decided to download the app today. Scanned my card to be left with an error message. I will wait to see if this error is fixed, before abandoning ship!
Downloaded this a week ago. Every time get error message "A problem has occurred, please try again" on Galaxy S6. Tried several times daily and tried uninstalling and reinstalling - same result.
Easier to make picks based on suggestions, simpler way to view picks and search functions really make a great difference!
It would be more than useful if you could print the pick list. The PC version is similarly limited
And why doesn't the App sync across different devices? Basic fail.

Pick list function is good but app would better if you extended scope to add favourites and ability to create shopping list.

Its O.K. but I would rather chose using my desktop than ,my phone as its clearer, but that's not straightforward either
Could do with adding additional cards for people who dont have an email address and dont have a Google account
Keeps crashing after picking an item and then confirming.
If you type 'organic baby' into the search, you'll find what you want
Great idea can check app when shopping to see my 10 picks.
I agree with a previous comment...a little limited......it would be nice if it covered the whole range of products available in store.apart from that its fine

Seems to do what it does very smoothly. I was pleased to see there was an app at first, but don't see me using it much as it's very limited. If you already know in advance what you want your picks to be, then it's fine as you can search for them. Otherwise you can only refine by wide category; no filtering by dietry requirement or looking at your favourites. I'm not scrolling through the entire store to choose, but if filters and favourites were added I'd love this. This version, I'll probably uninstall.
