Arrived is a location-based app that is aimed directly at real-life scenarios: Someone running late for a meeting who needs to show colleagues where they are, party-goers trying to get directions as they drive around a darkened neighborhood, parents keeping tabs on their kids at an amusement park or during an unchaperoned event, knowing when a family member arrives safely to a distant airport or waiting for a friend to arrive at your airport.

Why use it?
The most common text message in history is “where r u?” How many times have you sent it? How about: When will you be home? I’m on my way! Running 15 minutes late. Let's meet at the restaurant at 7 p.m. With Arrived, you no longer need to make a phone call or send a text to communicate this common location-based information. Designed to keep up with your mobile lifestyle, Arrived will automatically notify family and friends when you arrive/leave a specific location with the option to provide real-time view of your location on a dynamic map.

How does it work?
Arrived is a mobile app with two aspects: (1) “Connected” which allows smart-phone users to create Zones around specific locations (e.g., Home, Work, Daycare, or College) and connect with other users (e.g., friends and family). Once connected, the user can share zones with other users which will trigger automatic notifications of their entry/exit. Additionally, users can share their real-time location with other users which makes them visible on the in-app map. (2) “One-off”, allows temporary location sharing with anyone in your contact list in just a few clicks. Recipients will know exactly where you are via real-time location on a dynamic map, but only for as long as you want them to. In short, Arrived can be used how you want to use it… Keeping a family connected to know when mom or dad is headed home from work, or a One-off to let someone know where you are but just for a little bit.
