About Wacken Open Air
The official Wacken Open Air App! Stay informed about the biggest heavy metal festival of the world and organise your festival experience.
Our App gives you access to the latest news, the complete list of bands at the event and the running order. You can also add single bands and events to your personal favorite list to get a notification right before the band hits the stage! And if you have problems to find the right stage: A detailed map of the festival area is included, too.
New for the W:O:A 2017: Find your friends at the festival site, using the GPS of your device. The new friend finder makes descriptions like "the third tent on the right side" superfluous. But of course we will not share your position without your permission, you have to activate the feature manually!

The old app was much better! Now I can't even mark single concerts of multi-gig bands as favorite anymore. The notification of two conflicting favorites is gone, too.

I was really disappointed about the personal running order feature, it kept reminding me for bands that already played 2 days ago, spamming my notification bar regularly with EVERY band that played and i had set as favourite. Needs improvement

Nicht schlecht. Aber das die Bands bei der Kacheldarstellung jedes mal wenn man eine anschaut neu gemischt werden ist etwas mühsam. So sieht man eine Band fast zu unterst tippt auf sie und setzt sie als favorit..dan geht man zurück und ist wieder am anfang der kachel aber mit ner anderen reihenfolge...
