Die Walderlebnisschule Bochum möchte vor allem Kindern und Jugendlichen ein Naturverständnis vermitteln, dass die Ehrfurcht vor dem Leben (Albert Schweitzer) mit einer nachhaltigen Nutzung der Natur im Sinne der Agenda 21 verbindet. Dazu gehört: Walderlebnis. Natur mit allen Sinnen erleben. Abenteuer.Klettern und Schwingen, Feuer machen, Buden bauen.Werkstatt. Bauen und Basteln mit Naturmaterialien. Biologie. Erkundung von Lebensräumen (Wald, Bach, Teich). Artenkunde Tiere des Waldes. Getragen wird die Walderlebnisschule Bochum vom Förderkreis Lernort Natur Bochum und Umgebung und ist eine Initiative der Jäger im Landesverband Nordrhein-Westfalen.Gefördert u.a. durch die NRW-Stiftung Heimat-Kultur-Natur und Stadtwerke Bochum als definiertes Zukunfstprojekt.
