Treasures of Supplications

Du`a is a key that your hands will never be weary of carrying, and none but you shares it with you. Through it the treasuries of good are opened for you, and with it you are given sufficient protection from all evils. Through it you will gain what you will not gain through another means, and it is easier for than many different types of worship and aspects of obedience. It is not limited to any time or place, but its only condition is the sincerity of one’s intention, the presence of the heart and the upliftment of one’s state with The Most Blessed and Most High Lord. In du`a, Allah has placed a reason for cure from every disease, a means out of every trial and a door for every gift. The real one who is incapacitated is he who makes it difficult for himself, the one who will be disappointed is he who undermines its status, and the one who will be denied is he who abandons it.
