Evaporative cooling or simply put, cooling with water is a natural occurrence and is the oldest known method of transforming hot summer air into fresh moist cool air to cool indoor living areas. Using large cooling pads, a water distribution system and centrifugal/axial/exhaust fan, hot air is drawn from outside and passed through wet cooling pads. The air is then chilled by evaporation and disseminated through a ducting network to cool the complete area.
