Jain Dharma Pravesh JDP

Jain Dharma Pravesh (JDP) is a movement conceived and aimed at the younger generation of Sthanakwaasi Jains who are born in Jain families but are unaware of Jainism for various reasons. It is observed that the youngsters are avoiding or shying away from our Jain religion mainly due to the fear of being compelled to engage in some or the other religious rituals or activities to which the are unknown or unware of like doing samayik or attending/listening to vyakhyaan etc.

We DO NOT ask them to do any rituals of Jainism but only want them to join us and attend the gatherings where we impart basic understanding and knowledge about what Jainism is and how it can be embedded into our lives with minimal changes in our lifestyle.

We therefore appeal to the young generation of sthanakwaasi Jains who have been away from Jainism for some reasons or the other, enroll themselves in JDP and see & experience how JDP changes our life and outlook towards life and Jainism.
