IEI, Angul Local Center

The Institution of Engineers (India)Angul -Talcher Local chapter came into existence during 1993 to cater to the technical requirements of engineering fraternity in the vicinity of Angul–Talcher area .There are many engineering colleges & industries like coal ,power ,steel & aluminium located in this area .There are ample scope of co-operation between industry & academia under the aegis of this body .It organizes seminars , workshops,presentations inviting luminaries from various fields and helps in a small way in dissemination of technical & managerial knowledge round the year.It started initially with only 129 members during first year .Now there are 760 members and still growing .
