Tasawwuf and Ganj e Irfan Trust (Rgd):
Tasawwuf is meant to purify the heart. The evil that is inherently present in Nafs (Spirit) of human beings does not only endanger faith or belief of mankind it also leads to the culmination of bad deeds. As every one of us needs treatment if he/she is physically ill, likewise one needs treatment if he/she is spiritually ill. The difference lies in the point that with physical diseases, one’s body may feel pains and in some cases there may be a full stop to one’s life, however in spiritual disease the primary target is the soul and this results in the loss of both the lives- physical and spiritual.
