香薰油(Essential Oils)，又稱精油、菁華油或芳香油，是由植物提煉出來的濃縮液體，特性是揮發性高、易燃、不溶於水但溶於有機溶劑、帶有原植物的芬香氣味。香薰油可從植物的不同部分萃取出來，以橙樹為例，花、葉和果皮均可用來製造香薰油，由花得到的橙花油(Orange Blossom)，由葉可得到苦橙葉油(Petitgrain)，由果皮可得橙油(Orange).
