Recent Apps Widget for Android
Display your recent apps directly on your home screen! Customize the number of apps you want to display and hide labels if desired. You may filter out apps that you don't want to see.
Note: Add to the homescreen with Menu -> Add -> Widgets -> Recent Apps Widget
I really like this but it seems to have speed working with lollipop. I sure hope it gets fixed, Samsung Note 4, unrooted, os5.0.1
But it doesn't work @note3 + android 5.0
... Unfortunately not working in lollypop
Doesn't work on my phone
This widget claims to do exactly what I want it to do... But doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android 5.0 :(
Don't think it works on Lollipop
Best
Of the worst.
The concept is really amazing. this app is really useful but sadly has too many bugs. on my device Huawei G6 (android 4.3) it didn't even work but I like the idea very much so that's why 5stars. I hope everything will be fixed.

Would be even better if the "empty" recent app icon wasn't so ugly.
It use to work but now the apps don't update
The app order on the widget only refreshes when I open this app. It should refresh the order every time I open up something using the widget. This is the second app that I find with the same exact issue.
Wow, I was going to buy a new phone because my current phone dosn't have a recent app button. Well this app solves that problem. No new phone for me. Saved me some serious bucks.
Works perfectly so far! I've only tested it for ten minutes; let's see how it performs over a day or so.
Works and is exactly what I needed. I just wish there were more options on the widget.
Other than that it's awesome.
Very Useful
a very nice widget with great functionality (ignore list etc) to show recent apps in a widget! Author is nice, and do response to email! Thanks Jon!
Please add the option to save the recent app list so that it persists if the battery runs out or the phone restarts
Almost perfect. REQUEST: please allow adjustments to the background / dock that I'd behind the app icons. I want it completely transparent ... thanks much!
Everything as expected, good widget adjustment
Convenient, I do not have to add shortcuts to my homescreen anymore. This widget will automatically create shortcuts on my main page for the apps I use. Plus, I can not show the shortcuts for the the apps I do not want to see on my main page. I'm all for anything that saves setup. Download and add widget to home screen: Menu -> Add -> Widgets -> Recent Apps Widget, and you're in business.
This widget would solve am annoying failing with the Samsung Galaxy Note II, which does not have this useful feature provided by many of its rivals. However, it causes a system-wide problem where it blocks many other widgets from working. Thus, sadly I had to uninstall.

the app isnt free because free = no ads no limitations at all. i am saddened that theres ads in this app. this was the only app that had what i was looking for but sadly i refuse to have ads anywhere on my device. remove the ads or put a price tag on it. either way i cant finish my theme now because i had to uninstall this app just because theres ads. NO ADS NO ADS NO ADS END OF LIST
works well, simple, does the job. hoping for an option to show only the labels and hide the icons.
Only shows some apps, can't hide the app itself from showing and doesn't update properly...

This app is perfect!! Only thing I would like to see is an option to add this to the top of the notification pull down exactly as on home screen... If this were added.... I'd give 5 stars
Can you add "most used" mode, please.. On Nexus 4 with android v4.3 this widget freezes all others widgets in Nova launcher.
Widget cannot be added on my sgs3
Seems to be working well, more UI tweaks / features are welcomed.
Unfortunately, has some problems (as for me). It doesn't show any recently called system "Settings" pages, it doesn't show applications called to open some file from another app (e.g. picture viewers). And for some reason it show but doesn't handle click on Google Talk icon.

Really good app. this app together with an empty desktop allowed me to switch between apps by only short pressing the home button, instead of holding it for ever and ever... Nice useful app. So far no crashes with CM7.2
Lovely old job. Desire C, Android 4.0.3.
Just would like to be able to customise the icons.
Too buggy for real usage, but the general concept is sound
