عنترة بن شداد بن قراد العبسي (525 م - 608 م) هو أحد أشهر شعراء العرب في فترة ما قبل الإسلام، وأشتهر بشعر الفروسية، وله معلقة مشهورة. وهو أشهر فرسان العرب، وشاعر المعلقات والمعروف بشعره الجميل وغزله العفيف بعبلة.
