RFinder (Repeater Finder), the premier Ham Radio repeater locating tool for Amateur Radio operators, allows you to find repeaters all over the world based on your current location or a specified location. It allows sorting by distance or by Trustee callsign as well as filtering by band and radius in miles or kilometers.

Social functions! Let other hams know you are on a repeater through RFinder AND APRS (optional)! Find an EchoLink node in RFinder and call it with one click via EchoLink! Automatic data updates as you move!

Repeater Finder (RFinder) taps into The World Wide Repeater Directory, including IRLP and EchoLink information.

Our Amateur Radio repeater locator database is growing daily.

Access to the Directory is included for one year then it will be an annual subscription for $9.99, and your subscription works for all platforms...Android, iPhone/iPad/iPod, www.RTSYSTEMSINC.com and chirp.dansplanet.org radio programmers, as well as web.rfinder.net. Each purchase of a new platform advances your annual to a year from that new purchase date. Windows Phone is coming!

If we do not have your repeaters listed...please do not refund or give us a bad rating...add repeaters at http://add.rfinder.net or request an add or update from the app.. Don't forget LAT/LON (in decimal), use periods as decimals, please.

The application accesses our Worldwide Repeater Directory and scanner directory for Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) but only stores information for repeaters within approximately 80 miles (125 km) from your location on your handheld at any one time, saving you room on your device and allowing distance calculation and mapping features to operate smoothly. It uses geolocation either via cell tower triangulation, GPS or manual location entry (so you can look up the repeaters you will use on vacation or business trips, etc.).

If anyone has lists of Amateur Radio repeaters from their countries we would love to incorporate that into our database.

We support Android 2.2 and above!

Just crashes and database is out of date

T70%

Mine crashes when I call filter from the side menu. Can't change filters. Ellipsis 8, and apparently, the developer doesn't care. I've not been acknowledged after several weeks.

Great App with the Rfinder M1 radio.

D70%
by D####:

rfinder is about the greatest app I have seen as a radio amateur. Standalone it is very helpful but it really unfolds its fulllll potential when used with the M1 radio. You can log directly into your repeater or echolink and do many things you would not have dreamt about. Thank you, Bob. 73 de Alex, DL5OA

Greatest app going great Android phone amazing DMR and FM amateur radio with NO CODE PLUGS needed for use. On the air in seconds push the listing on rfinder app and your Rfinder M1 radio phone is transmitting on freq and Talk Group you selected. Instant telephone or text support for questions. Instant software upgrades. Love both the Rfinder app and RFinder M1 AMATEUR RADIO AND ANDROID CELLPHONE COMBO.

I thought that the opening page said first year free, but after I signed up, it said 30 free trial. Can't see paying $10 USD a year. Just my POV on the cost of this sort of APP. And it seems that I need to pay extra for RT and chirp? Not sure. Dismal config. Tried to find km. No joy. Sorted by freq, then went to map, was overwhelmed by all the repeater symbols, when I was expecting to see the one I selected. Returned to the list to find that it was no longer sorted by freq, and I was not looking at the repeater I selected. Best app for hams? Not this one. Doubt I'll use it, and I use RT and chirp.

I have just downloaded the trial version of RFinder and it seems very comprehensive. However, when I looked for repeaters in Scotland, none seems to be listed. Why? I looked up GB3HI which is the 2m repeater on the Isle of Mull but it's not there.

Before I pay, I always test customer services to see if or how long they take to get back to you on here. My question: How often are the UK repeaters updated please?

The combo of the phone's GPS and the app is feally useful.

As a radio ham at first I wasn't sure. But having used this app for traveling around the uk and in Europe, poland and Italy. It's amazing. And even better Now I have a Rfi 2M1. What a handset. Just point and click. NO CODE PLUG NEEDDED. With the hotspot and hoseline features are great. What else are these guys going to add. I just can't wait to see. And the support is great. I found a bug and reported it to the developers and it was fixed in an update days later just awsome. Well done rfinder.

D70%
by D####:

To many dup repeaters not all repeaters listed exist to easy to add a dummy repeater true repeaters have wrong information listed app is not worth the $10 for life never mind a year

R70%
by R####:

"Free" version is actually trialware. Ok fine. But the trial version is also crippled. Seriously? Uninstalled and moved to the next app in the list...

D70%
by D####:

I have no idea why this app suddenly needs to know who I'm talking to on the phone but that information is confidential and is not going to be shared. I'm not upgrading to the new version while that is a required permission.

D70%
by D####:

Lookup is fine. There is some bad/outdated data, but there is a way to report it. It asks for too many permissions though for what it is.

I have been using Rfinder for five plus years, any ham that travels this is a must have APP. Being a happy Rfinder customer for years lead me to purchasing M1 Android Radio phone, I have never had customer service better than with RFinder. Thanks for you great work Bob. N1XSS

X70%
by X####:

Great app. Works perfectly on my RFinder M1 and shows me all the nearby repeaters. Makes it easy to reprogram my radio with the appropriate repeater information. The repeaters can be listed by call sign, frequency, or distance. I purchased the yearly subscription because the app is well worth the cost. No more looking up various repeaters along my route before I travel, I have the RFinder app set to display repeaters near my location which it can tell from the phones GPS.

D70%
by D####:

After installing this app on two Android devices, I find it crashes when selecting the filter option. Having read the other reviews and the less than diplomatic (harsh, nasty) responses from the developer, I'm not sure if I want to pursue using this app further. I hope the ARRL rethinks their association with ITWERKS, if for no other reason than the angry tone the developers use when responding to less than positive reviews.

Works ok. Just not sure why it need access to my phone and call log.

D70%

Very good repeater tool, much easier to use that the clumsy repeater book online.

G70%

It now wants access to my call logs along with everything else? I don't think so. Time to uninstall.

D70%

It's the wave of the future. Nobody comes close to rfinder's innovative way of presenting and using ham repeaters. It's a new age for amateur radio.

D70%
by D####:

The best combination no need to take cell phone and ht with me. No more code plugs. Well thought out.

D70%

I have been using RFinder as my source for repeater info for quite some time. Bottom line... it's EXCELLENT! Bob's devotion to SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE is evident in everything he does. Check out the Android/DMR/RFinder-controlled radios and accessories also available. NO MORE CODE-PLUGS to worry about!! Just Google RFinder Android Radio and choose link to ecwid > store

D70%

Lots of outdated information. The app itself is OK, but Repeaterbook does everything I need, is more up to date and also free. I won't be renewing my subscription.

Its pretty good but it says 9.99 for membership but is 12.99

J70%

This app sucks!! I paid the $10.00 And can't see any systems beyond 200 miles. Even after I set the distance to 10000 miles. Arrl should have not sold us out!! Update 9-7-17 Have tried sending updates and request a few systems be removed from app as they don't even exist. Have yet to see them fixed!! Will never buy this app again!! 12-19-17 Have still yet to see an update of the systems it says are in the area when they are not!

D70%
by D####:

My only complaint is their is no option for lifetime membership and the map depends on the internet to function. It would be much better to have the ability to download different regens, ie California, Idaho, Washington and so like a GPS. Not everybody has internet access on their phone unless they are at home or in Star bucks drinking coffee.

D70%
by D####:

Not bad, but missing Gmrs repeaters list, will see in 30 days if updated.

good

This app is great. App comes to life when you use it with an RFinder device, phone or tablet.
