My Verizon Mobile for Tablets for Android
Will not let me sign in. Says to use my own device. Haven't changed anything. Uninstalling.
Seriously Verizon make it where we can have the app in portrait... Most tablets nowadays are made for portrait. - Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7
When I log from my tablet it states to sign in from my device or go to the website. I was Able to use my tablet to view my account previously.
It is just to confusing and way different from thee app on the phones !!
Last update April 4th 2016. Unable to access account from this tablet.
The app is okay but it would be great if it was like the one for the phones. Please do it!
The app is good.....However......For some reason I am unable to put the shortcut on my desktop......Any help is welcome.
I am not quite sure why, but every time I open the app on my tablet it autorotates to the landscape and will not rotate back. This is a problem because in this mode I cannot see everything that should be on screen, for example when I try to edit my payment method by deleting my current card I cannot see the delete option because it does not show on the screen in landscape mode. Please give me some feedback on what's going on with this. Thanks
This layout is really confusing. I got on the first time and freaked out because it now shows how much data is left in the bar graph instead of showing an empty graph and as you use more data it fills the bar more. I just wish they would put it back so you don't have to learn a new layout every time they feel like changing it.
About 1 in 5 messages don't sync across devices now. For example, message sent or received on phone may not show up on tablet. This used to be rare. Also, if you start to type a group message and then change your mind, there's no way to get rid of it. Erase what you typed so the field is empty, leave the app, and when you open it again the message is back as a draft. Super annoying. Also, I don't like either sets of emoticons at all and wish it would just show what I chose from my android set.
When I try to log in it says use another device or go to the website. This tablet is on the VZ network. If I use my phone I can log in. In ether case I can't do what I want. I wanted to DELETE a device not suspend service. The device is a Gear VR that no longer boots up. I am paying for a device that I can't use. Guess I will have to waste my time and go to a VZ store and wait in line Guess VZ really needs the extra $10 line charge for a dead device.
The details on the updated app are useless! I share 5 lines on my account and I can't see how much data each line has used. I used to before the update (which I loved), now it lists the same amount for each line which is frustrating!
Can't get a data breakdown on my 6 lines. Auto rotate no longer works. Big step backwards Verizon.

My app use to work and now it doesn't. Tells me to open on my own device (which I was) or go to the Verizon website. If I wanted to do that i would not have your app! What's going on??
This is nothing like the app for the phone. It feels like something from years ago. I almost want to take it off.

Continue to get integrated messaging error unable to connect to internet. I have uninstalled several times & formatted device
It works, really doesn't do much. Landscape only and zoomed don't need my glasses on some screens. Looks like a phone app zoom to fit a tablet. It's just ok and doesn't crash.
This app no longer works for me since I did your update. Very disappointed, this is the 2nd time a Verizon update has screwed up my devices. The one before this I lost everything. THANKS FOR NOTHING Verizon
App not working. Can't make any payments. This has been an on going issue.
Suddenly I can't sign in with my tablet, says its an unrecognized device. So much for convenience.
Installed size of new version 49MB. Version 10.0.720 installed size was 11MB. The messaging app has an installed size of 85MB and crashes. I deleted the messaging app. A normal messaging app is 5MB. Tab S 8.4 Android 6.0.1
Won't let me sign in using my ID or other person's on the account on my tablet, says, "sign in on your own device." This is my device too!!! What's the point of the app on tablet if I can't use it?!? Also, app only opens in landscape orientation, and since I'm not ever signed in, widget which I normally appreciate, is pointless.
App and widget no longer shows Shared Usage total. When you open the App your overview of devices and usage show but then when you click on the usage the next screen doesn't display it only shows 0G out of what ever plan level you have. I wish my widget displayed current usage and days left on plan. So you could monitor usage as your approach the end of your plan each month. Also I wish the widget stayed updated. I have to sign onto the app everytime I want my actual usage running total.
Generally very good. Not the easiest for those who don't feel the need to ENDLESSLY keep pace with technology. Could use some advice/helpful hints/use manual - App's to help those who might not get the best/fullest use/potential out of these tablets/programs... also, there is NO WAY to fix your clock to one time zone, so if you regularly have your Airplane Mode switched on, you can't always be sure of your time unless you live in Eastern Time Zone(it defaults to there).
I have had my Verizon app on my tablet since I got it and since it is a Verizon tablet I don't understand why now with this last update it's telling me that it's not compatible with my version and there is no other app I can download in the store and I can't delete it.............. 6/16/16Much better now thanks for fixing the bugs :)
I was hesitant about updating since the app was working good, but I went ahead and am pleased to say the latest update has not caused problems on my Verizon Ellipsis tablet.
I had no problems with the old app. Now the app doesn't work. If it works why would you mess with it ?
I'd give it no stars if I could. Bad enough that I don't know what I need this for, but it won't even update and is wasting my power trying to repeatedly do so.
Latest upgrade does not allow you to log on. Password does not work. Only answer from tech support is to use Chrome instead. The answer is to not use the app. Great improvement.
Whether you use this on the web or this on a tablet it doesn't work long enough for me to get any information or my questions answered.
The app updated on my phone to go a long with the new plans, but the app/ widget on my tablet stayed the same old design.
Widget does not automatically update data usage like it used to. I have to access the application and then it will update.
When is the new version of the app coming to tablets like it is on phones? I switched to the "new" Verizon plan and such got the new app on my phone but not tablet?? The main reason i want it is so I can turn on the data protection switch so I don't go over my data. Please add that, unless you want to charge me for overages
This app no longer works on my tablet, it stopped Friday, called verizon and they tried everything, still says unable to process my request....they said it's needs an update!!!

I hate updating perfectly functioning apps to give additional permissions to things they've never needed before.
