VZ Navigator for Galaxy SIII for Android
Before was awesome now sucks big time! always stops working and lost conecction I get lost today because it just stop working! I can just read NO GPS.
For me, I can get better results using Google maps and it's free. In this day and age, if I'm already a Verizon customer, the nav app should either be free or an option that I can choose to load or not. Anybody reading this want to set up a company where the rooted apps on their phone are ones they choose for themselves? We'll make a mint cuz I know it what I've wanted forever...
Does not keep up with the vehicle the lag makes me miss turns. Tells me to make a you turn when I am where it sent me which also happens to be the correct location.
I am an LTL driver I use my VZ Navigator everyday and it has yet to let me down. It has a truck option that gets me to where I need to go without having to worry about low bridges or roads marked... no thru trucks
Had this replacement phone for over a week now and the Load arrow is still flashing annoyingly. I can't uninstall this nuisance either.
She got totally confused Sunday while I was.driving on the 215 in L.A. took me an extra hour and buying a paper map to get on the 10. It was really easy if she had known where we were.
Any app that comes pre-installed that I cannot uninstall is bad. Also crashes and runs even when I don't want it to.
Can you please fix the issue with the navigation constantly saying "finding location"? We pay for nothing. Will have to cancel if it's not fixed.
Works great, use it all the time. Works where others do not, directions are good. Has a couple of quirks but once you get those figured out, it is great.
Mapquest seems to give you better direction server is down a lot there is a lot of streets and roads that are not in their database
Can't uninstall and not worth the price.
This used to be so great. Now it's broken!
If u are a Verizon customer, this app should b free! Hell I pay over $100.00 Mo. & still have a discount! WTH
Verizon, if you are going to load up the devices you sell with your bloatware that consumes precious device resources at least allow the user to uninstall that crap especially when they already have access to a much better free alternative, Google Maps! NEVER INSTALL YOUR BLOATWARE AS A SYSTEM APPLICATION! This app is NOT needed for a device to function! #1 reason to root, debloating!
Vz navigator is very helpful for my business. I just wish there were more options for mapping and navigating our big trucks. Ie: weight limits, low overhead bridges, one lane roads, etc. Otherwise, i have had very few problems.

I will turn my phone on and turn my location on, open the app and put the destination I'm driving to in the search box and press go, but then it will take up to 15 maybe even 20 minutes just for the gps direction screen to load. Once that loads, its never wrong but just getting it there is the hassle.
The app works, but I wish it had the capability to let you choose more route option parameters such as selecting route by quickest time OR shortest distance. Also wish it would continue to work even if you lose signal (such as save route before leaving). $4.99 monthly is a little steep for the current features.
Used to work great. Now it can't ever find my current location.
Living in northern Virginia this is a must have. When I don't know where I'm going I rely on this app
It is unreliable. it cant even find my location half of the time. Works great if its actually working.
Why would anyone use a garbage proprietary app such as this that's forced down people's throats?
Has a bad habit of driving you around like a taxi trying to squeeze another 5 bucks out of you... needs an update and more options perhaps of direct routes/ shortest time perhaps like Google maps
Lmao!! Why would anyone pay for this garbage!!!? It's inaccurate plus Google has a free navigator that's actually good!! Did I mention free!!! Verizon customer should get this app free with no kind of payments, it should be a perk for being a Verizon customer.. thank god for Google
At first it was aawful paying for something that I didn't ask for??...no way!!! Ever since I talked to the Verizon customer service I haven't seen the option to pay It just gives me directions and it's always on time love it

My only complaint is sometimes it has trouble finding me even when I have full bars. Restarting the app sometimes fixes this. The navigator gives clear concise direction with notification of up coming turn. The visual graphics have uncanny accuracy as well and have aided me when I was unsure. In "spaghetti bowls" the view zooms into my perspective and shows me my exact path, again helps to reduce confusion. Residential addresses are sometimes slightly off but it'll get me close enough to start looking.
TERRIBLE! VERIZON OWNERS-YOU CHARGE TO MUCH, FOR YOUR SERVICE (CELL PHONE BILLS, MOBILE, COMPUTERS)-WE THE PEOPLE-THAT KEEP YOU IN BUSINESS&YOU ALL MAKE DARN GOOD $$$ FROM US ALL-YOU SHOULD SIT DOWN&PONDER A LITTLE ON, IT'S NOT ABOUT THE ALL MIGHTY $-IT'S ABOUT YOUR SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE. $$ THAT'S WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU-I BELIEVE THAT IT SHOULD BE RETHOUGHT&IT'S TIME TO REMEMBER YOUR CUSTOMERS! !
There is no point in charging for this service when you can get better application that do the same thing for free.
It never ever will load I've never been able to use thus as others I hate not being able to roomive the app!! I've tried force stopping etc.. Its just awful it never has will work properly if it had negative choices to choose from thus app would definitely get a HUGE negative mark!! Boo hoo
It used to be great, now it stinks since it never gets a signal. It's always searching for my location and never finds it! Can't use it if you're lost....
60 dollars a year is the discount price? One star for overpriced app I can't remove. And it keeps asking if I want to use it for links even though I haven't paid for it. Sorry I am not able to evaluate the actual software. Props to Verizon for finding a way to make this the most hated app for people who never even use it.
Used to be fantastic. MUCH better than google maps. But since v9.0.7.48 installed in July 2014 it takes forever to find my location and then when I push start to navigate the app crashes and shuts down!
I love that it gives me alternate routes and estimated times to get to a place. I love in L.A.and I drive 30 to 50 min to many destinations. I love that I can see which routes to take that would get me to my destination faster. I also love that I can store my favorite destinations.
This app does what I need it to do so that I can get where I need to. I followed someone using a so call better navigation app on a expensive phone and we got lost not once but three times. Using this app we got where we were going with problems.
This appy be so crappy. Seriously though, it's an unnecessary redundancy. Scout is a much more refined GPS navigator. And MapFactor Navigator is a superior alternative also. (I use its free open source map, but for less than the subscription price of this VZ crap, you can download and use TomTom maps as well. Oh... and there's GoogleMaps, more appropriately installed on the phone anyway. Why isn't this FREE? With Verizon' already overinflated prices, this should be complimentary. SMH.
This use to work great but since updated it will only show point A to B. It won't do turn by turn navigation unless I turn phone off then back on and sometimes not even then. Please fix!!
It did freeze once. Turned off phone and restarted it and it was fine. Like the other format vz navigator but works good. Other format seemed more stable
Loved this app on the East Coast. Couldn't find its way out of a paper bag when visiting Mickey Mouse.

I use to LOVE this ap so much I would tell others to use it over any other "direction" ap. But for a while now it just flat out doesn't work. I enter an address only to hear "Getting Route" then NOTHING!!! I don't like paying for something that doesn't work. I guess I am hoping it one day will work again.
