Has been known to take me through pastures. Takes me down roads not made for trucks/rv's while truck route is selected. No options to avoid u-turns... If Google Maps had a truck/rv route option, google maps would be better. Sometimes takes forever to for the app to even open.

Would give 5 stars if there was a simple global mute option for the app. As i use my phone to listen to books on the road and use navigator as a simple route advisor for traffic and accidents, but i have to remute it each and every time i use it. I dont need sound from it, as it will interupt anything else going on. Other than that it works great.

Used it when traveling in AZ. Kept you exactly in the lane you needed on the freeways and gives you a heads up when you need to cross several lanes. I travel in MT and use it a lot when in a city to find a grocery store or restaurant. Always gets me there and back with no issues Sometimes when I turn to soon it will tell me to make an illegal U-turn. Oh yea sometimes when their are forks in the road. It can not differentiate if you are inside or outside lane and that is when the U turn kicks in.lol

R70%
by R####:

Does not always choose best or shortest route. Often gives longest route and changes routing on long trips. App is unable to reroute proficiently if you miss a turn, it consistently tells you to U-Turn instead of safely rerouting on roadways that lay ahead.

This app works GREAT on my Nexus 6p! That Google maps is trash, it keeps saying "GPS LOST" and then tanking me long ways then dropping out. Which is very aggravating.

I tried this app thinking it was going to do a better job than it did. The directions kept cutting out and when I'm driving i can't be looking at my phone every time it didn't finish giving the directions. I was very unimpressed. I am not planning on using it again.

This app use to be great, however now every time you get a phone call or have to leave the route screen it shuts DOWN!!! You then have to restart it and then start your trip directions again. This is dangerous!! And yes I am paying for this service so I would expect a better system.

This app has become even worse since last post. Repeatedly tries to send me down routes clearly marked no trucks as well as weight restricted roads. Dangerous app

This is a good app for navigation. I've been using it periodically for 3 years. 4 or 5 times it left me in the middle of the trip and just stops working- it stops talking and drops the route without notice, which is not helpful. I've been stuck without directions in local areas and other states. I don't know why that happens because I'm in areas with service. On the whole, I use it but in the back of my mind I wonder when it's going to leave me again.

Generally a great app. However several times I missed turns due to being told to stay left or right, only to be told without enough warning to get in the proper lane, to make a turn. Frustrating! Otherwise I'm very satisfied.

I used Google Maps because it was free. However, the time wasted being lost was not worth it. VZ Navigator has performed flawlessly for me from Washington State to Washington D.C. I don't leave home without it!!

R70%
by R####:

You had a perfectly good version before, a lot easier to use. But then again you probably had to create a version for idiots. Thanks, but no thanks, I still have common sense.

R70%
by R####:

Shows up on bill without me even asking. Google Maps is free and endlessly better. Unsubscribe is a complete pain. Scam at best, way to steal $5 a month Verizon

R70%
by R####:

The voice activation is perfect. It always works for me. Unlike Google, which I hate! The directions have been spot on. Thank you for a product that actually does what I need it to do and does it's job well.

I love this app. I prefer it over Google. It doesn't have 100% of my destinations but, it does have a good 90 some percent. I still prefer it and rely on it five days a week.

Used to use it a lot and liked it, now it gets goofy on me sometimes. Missed the objective last trip, I overshot and it never even noticed, did not reset itself, I had to reset it. I generally like the instructions better than freebies but the reliability is not what it used to be.

R70%
by R####:

Never used this bloatware. Started noticing a monthly charge for it. Never even gave it permissions to turn on my GPS let alone subscribe to it. If I could uninstall it I would have years ago.

R70%
by R####:

Just checking this app out. This app comes already installed on my phone, so I can't uninstall it. I am going to try it out. Keeping my fingers crossed that it works out. I will be back to hopefully give a good rating.

Misleading and dangerous. Loses contact continuously. Let your daughter use this.i dare you

R70%

Why do they put this crap on my phone and dont let me delete it? Really? People still pay for this when goole and waze are free. OMG. What a joke!

R70%
by R####:

Gets me to where I am going without a lot of fuss when I overshoot a turn. However I don't think it is good enough that I would trust it to steer my car.

R70%
by R####:

I liked the older version. I used it today for the first time in San Rafael CA and it confused me at the end and just stopped with recalculating or finishing the trip.

Who needs GPS devices that send you down back roads and charge for updated road mapping. Plus this app directs you around accidents or back ups. Love it.

I traveled from Wisconsin to Tennessee to Arkansas and back to Milwaukee. It's a very good app. Only issues I had was when in Arkansas and I arrive at address it was a couple of houses short of my destination.

I70%
by I####:

It always gets me where I need to go without incorrect directions. I love that it will give me detours to select from when I need to get around bad traffic. I would definitely recommend!

R70%
by R####:

I Like Google maps. Sorry Verizon. You rock at other stuff though. Don't be ashamed. Hit and miss

R70%
by R####:

For a moto z force unit, the latest update jacked up the directions. It now says you destination is straight ahead on everything, instead if left or right. Almost makes the app useless to me.

R70%
by R####:

I like this application more than Google maps. More user friendly. Frustrating when it takes me in a circle when a straight line will do just fine.

Y70%

Stopped using this app on first Verizon phone many years ago. I hate, despise, disdain bloatware.

I70%
by I####:

It pays to look at the map before you start your commute, but all things considered this is my preferred navigation app.

R70%
by R####:

A bunch of unrelated social extras... otherwise, why would you use this app over Google Maps?

R70%
by R####:

Sometimes it tells me I've reached my destination in the middle of the road. It doesn't know if the destination is to the left or right sometimes.

R70%
by R####:

The app is amazing, very simple to understand, only bad thing is being charged everytime you need directions not cool,I already pay a high phone bill with Verizon I think they should be free. Other than that highly recommended and very easy to use.

R70%
by R####:

Great GPS App! Use it everyday. Love how it gives you options when choosing routes to a destination and shows the speed limit on most roads and the speed your driving!

U70%

Good app, has messed up a few times. It would show me in a different location a few miles off.

D70%
by D####:

I use several GPS systems, but reliably prefer and trust the Navigator best...I would much rather pay for this service than use one of the free ones that are available.

B70%
by B####:

This app is just an attempt by Verizon to take your money. Google maps is better, and costs nothing to use.

K70%
by K####:

It's just plain awesome for a person who does not know where we are going. And this directs you till you arrive.

B70%
by B####:

I always have loved this app on other LG phones but, after last mandatory upgrade from Verizon, it keeps freezing up during travel to the desired location.....very aggravating!

S70%
by S####:

Works pretty good most of the time,,I preferred the old platform.. It was easier to find businesses and restaurants. Sometimes it flakes out and don't work usually when you need it the most.. All in all its a decent app. For what you post a month for Verizon service this should be free!!
