Everest - for Basecamp for Android
Nice layout and project detail, but the app certainly isn't the fastest. And, with over 100 projects on our list a search function is SORELY missed!
Glad to have this, especially since there is no mobile site for Basecamp Next. Still rough around the edges though, especially in terms of being being in sync your project.
This is really easy to use.... Developer updates often so there's always improvements happening. Definitely the most convenient and intuitive way to keep up with your projects!
No access to our calander and cannot open jobs up it is only basic functions wish they would do more work on it .
A little clumsy but I'm grateful to have it
On the events tab i'm seeing " instead of double quotes. Also, there is no "Me" page. That is a big oversight imo.
But otherwise nice to have a Basecamp app. Thanks.
Not useful... doesn't support any of the features I use/ need in Base camp
Won't install. Galaxy S2
Very basic, limited functionality. Much better to use the website.
This is a simple iteration of basecamp but it lacks notifications, a full feature set of basecamp's capabilities and a graphical interface that isn't just lists
Weak product
Not quite perfect, but the best I've found, and I've tried Camper etc. Have suggested a few improvements to the dev, so hopefully this is still being actively developed. Best so far... recommend.
Works smoothly and helps me keep a close eye on all my basecamp projects. Developer is really responsive and actively improving the app. This is the only android app that works with the new basecamp.
Works, but limited. You can view/edit to dos, but can only view events. Also refresh is manual only, auto would be better.
Your app slows down my phone and interferes with opening other apps and programs (twitter, mail) and making simple phone calls. So far, a waste of money - not at all up to basecamp standards...
Loads projects, but all projects are empty. I have to give props to the developer as he is responding quickly to my emails tho. I'm sticking around because I really want this!
Just needs an option to attach a file with comments.
Syncing every level of a project manually every time I open the app is irritating as hell. Other than that it's a great app and currently the best way to use basecamp on Android.
I live in basecamp and this lets me have droid access.... thank you
Could use much more of basecamps functionality. As of April 2014, the functionality is limited to the basics.
So far this is the best basecamp app I've used. That said, when I post messages to a discussion they only show up in the web app, not in Everest. Also, randomly, other discussions don't show up. It also takes forever for files that have been uploaded to be listed within a project, if at all.
Works like a dream with the current version of Basecamp. I run this on my HTC One & Nook HD and the experience is brilliant. I would like to see my dash like on the site, currently 'favourite' projects are not tiled - can the developer tell me if/when this will be applied?
Why can't I view my master to-do list/tasks?
It does not bring in data from the projects, this is the simplest requirement. I am asking the vendor to return the money.
Missing messages. Missing dates. Syntax tags showing in todo's. It works but in a very basic way. It needs some more work and then it could be really good. A few more versions before its a good app.
I get some of the basic functions, but the ability to easily move items from one list to another is kind of important.
Beautiful. Plus I emailed the developer and the features I want are coming. Excited!
Not good.
I bought this app because it's supposed to be the best basecamp client out there. Every item says "unknown date", and nothing in the events tab is clickable to take you to the event/post/discussion. I have to make note of what the event was then hunt down the message in hundreds of posts. This is 100% broken, either in design or bugged. These two issues alone are complete show stoppers.
Some of the basic options (that are in the bc mobile version) are missing...
The free one is better.
Great
Great app and it works fantastic with base camp
This app is no longer needed. Basecamp has just launched a wonderful mobile version of their site that has greater functionality than Everest, and there's no additional cost. Uninstalling...
But I need my Calender view.
Looking forward to more features, but so far so good.
Much quicker than basecamps web client, worth the money twice over Native apps will always be better than a HTML5 Webapp
I'm unable to get Everest to authenticate with BC. After the "Yes I'll allow access" screen, it returns to the home screen with a toast error: "Failed to get access token"
