Vuze Torrent Downloader

The best torrent downloader there is. BUT DEV PLEASE listen. I use Vuze on pc ofc. But the android app has severe issues which you can solve very easily. A must feature for me is to see how much data has been downloaded and right now the app shows that in BYTES. Are you kidding me? Please show how much of individual files have been downloaded and Not in bytes or kb. Will give 5 stars then-Loyal vuze user for years

wonderfull to download torrents. but as soon as i lock my phone then all torrents stop. it seems you need to keep vuze running in the foreground all the time in order to be able to download anything. so you cant do anything else while downloading otherwise the download will stop and takes forever to start up again. not sure if this is only for me but this is annoying as hell.

All other clients take full control of hardware like vibration and all that but this is sophisticated. But If i don't want to download full torrent, and i select the only file i want to download. Still it starts whole download. I want to download 4gb from a torrent of 65 gb. Still it wants 65gb storage space. And i think the developer stopped updating application.

Use to be Best Bit Torrent App available, so I thought. Recently I discovered after closing app and reopening my torrents disappeared but file data in folder was there. Very annoying! Another thing missing is VPN implementation that allows us to choose activate VPN only. Lastly, when torrents are finished and goes through "checking" phase, it restarts download. Hope you can help as I'm going to be forced to use a different app if not. For some reason I can only use it once when first downloaded. If I reopen app later I get a huge error message.

First review was removed? Overall it's a great app, but the cast option doesn't work as it used to. I tap the icon and press connect to chromecast, the App just crashes and asks if I want to restart or send feedback.

The app now runs my phone's CPU battery into the ground. It also allocates space for and downloads every file, including the ones I've unchecked for download. If I want to download a 3.6GB project for Windows, I have to download the 3.6GB Mac code too for no reason, wasting storage space and data. And if I turn my screen off it freezes my phone, and when I restart it, all my torrents are gone.

"Selected file type is invalid" when valid .torrent files are used/opened or manually browsed for, app just doesn't care for anything anymore. So much for it being an isolated issue. Nope. Just grabbed that one terrible competitor with that ugly U logo, tried same torrent, it loaded fine. Looks like this app is broken now.

Im giving it all the stars because i have been using this on my another device also....... But from few days im not able to download a movie.... Still after of being a very high speed internet its not downloading???

I remember I stop using the program on my computer because it's not getting updates. I should have took that into account when I install this on my tablet. As soon as I used it WiFi stopped working so I'll be on uninstalling it and moving on.

Great app but no longer compatible with Chromecast after their latest update. If you try to cast from the home screen it immediately crashes. If you try to cast from the playing file (avi, mp4, mkv) it won't list any of the available chromecast devices. I've updated chromecast/Home so the issue is now on the Vuze side. This is on a Samsung Tab4. Had zero issues previously. Please fix and I'll be happy to give it a 5. Right now it's just an average library app.

I pretty much only use Vuze for audiobooks, and it sucks that whenever I get a call or want to check someing else, or even when the screen locks, it shuts it off. It's hard to remember exactly where you left off and gets pretty annoying after a few times. On desktop it just continues where you left off like on audible.

Problem begins while adding torrent to vuze. It takes much time to add a torrent while it's in metadata we have to stay on vuze itself. If suppose we multi task anything . We have to add from first. Downloading speed is very good compared to other torrent clients

Love vuze, excellent downloading times. can't wait to try the vuze remote..update. on tablet now files are unable to share to sd and incompatible with the tv. Tv picks up vuze fine.

Within a few minutes of starting the app, my Note Edge Freezes. Also cannot pause multiple torrents. Developer has still not bothered to reply.

This app likes to run in the background with no active torrents or anythin and takes over 50% battery by itself. Going into dev options and turning background processes off doesnt help.

This app works very well, does what it is intended to do. My only complain is when downloading a torrent with multiple archives (e.g. a music compilation) and you only need one or some you have to uncheck the undesired files one by one.

All-In-One Toolbox marks all the notifications of newly installed applications as blocked. And usually it's OK. But... Vuze makes my phone stuck. Even afterwards when notifications are allowed phone frequently freezes. Please make something with notifications! Vuze cannot write on SD-cards? Learn the experience of X-plore! They make writing possible with the user's special permission.

Its a torrent client nice and simple but when its running my phones temp goes through the roof. Careful with this, could have hard bricked my s7

Sorry for a single star. The app doesn't seem to download anything anymore after completing download of a given torrent. After I relaunch after shutting down and adding torrent by selecting a file, the ETA keeps showing 'N/A' and downloads nothing. I tried clearing cache and restarting the app, rebooting the phone as well as reinstalling the app and it doesn't seems to work. Any help? Help me fix this and you have 5 stars from me.

Better then competition by a long shot. No stupid add ons just a pure client. Easy to change file path locations. BEWARE sometimes the wifi only settings will use your data when you initiate the download while using your home wifi then traveling outside of its range. Please fix that deleopers??

Disappointing that attempting to use SDCard as destination folder for download has failed miserably, saying not enough memory but reality there are more than memory available. Even uninstall & reinstall still have the same result

Very good app, does exactly what you want it to do. Brought the pro version to support the designer. Slight issue, I find the app will restart when launching from the notification bar about 25% of the time, forcing reconnection on ur downloads. I always go in via the shortcut now.

With low seeds, works finest. Utorrent wasn't able to download a file bcoz of low seeds, vuze did the job and won man of the match. It was my second option back then, and now as it is available for android, its my primary downloader now. Thank you, the developing team, for such a decent app.

You can't pause as they start up again, does not download when screens off (WiFi does not stay active) and you can't access the folder contents from your PC, you go to the correct folder but there is nothing in it!

I don't understand y background data keeps finishing my data plan , its very frustrating . can it be fixed? I know torrents is a great app, but I'm just confused. Is there a setting I should know about? I've already pit off background data, but still...please reply.

It won't pause..I pause all the torrents, then they immediately start back again AUTOMATICALLY!!! Only want to download one or two at a time and it won't let me..wth?!? Why even have a pause button if it doesn't work, and I paid for the pro version..Jesus..get your sh*t together

You can't pause multiple torrents as they automatically resume again. What is pause there for if nothing stays paused? Also when selecting what files you want to download from a torrent it still downloads the full torrent

One suggestion for the devs- Pro Version of vuze is very costly with respect to the features. Why don't you include option of 'Donate' . Many people will donate and you can keep the ads disabled this way.

In terms of the torrent downloading it is very good, connections and speed are great. However the app needs a GUI refresh in my opinion, and also the settings are quite bare compared to flud, not to mention the information about the torrents isn't quite as comprehensive as flud either. Also user feedback when loading torrents etc is poor. If the devs could match the functionality and beauty of flud this would be a winner.

Annoyingly on shutdown or crash it regularly removes torrents from its list, leaving the partial files but no .torrent to restart from where I left off. It has no discrimination against complete or current downloads please help it's so frustrating

Best torrent downloading app I've found by far, HOWEVER it doesn't allow you to save files to the SD Card which is a real shame. The message claims it's the OS at fault, but I know of a similar app which doesn't have this issue... Sooo a fix or workaround would be lovely? It can save to a remote folder on the SD Card which is reliant on the app to be installed, but it's a bad temporary solution at best.

I used to love this app but now whenever I try to download something it gives me an error, please fix it. I know it's the app and not a bad link because bittorrent downloads the same link fine.

I'm using this app from past 3 months when ever I attach magnetic torrent it takes a lot of time to attach a torrent file.while downloading a torrent it also doesn't show torrent while it was active in the notification bar. Solve this issue and do let me know because most of the torrent app didn't working on my xperia s lt26i

Check out Flud app and you will agree with this rating yourself. Screen never turns off when downloading, difficult to track individual file download progress, no sequential file download option, and many other disappointments. I am never trying this again.

It downloding from mobile NW even i selected Wify only option.. Also could you please remove default check for delete associated files. That will created accident delete files when removing torrent files. If all works i would give 5 stars..

Transferred some finished files inside a torrent. Continued the "unfinished". Says file not found. Had to restart and so the unfinished had to be redownloaded again despite having made progress with them. Example. In a torrent file, there are 28 files. I finished dl-ing 10 files and partial dl with the rest. so i transferred the finished files to my harddrive and tried to continue the dl of the other 18. Says file not found despite partial dl. Had to restart or it wont continue. Pls improve. Ty!

I have purchased the pro version and I am unable to stop certain downloads. Every time I pause the torrent it restarts everything. Please fix. I have been using this for years and I really enjoy the app. I plan to keep what I purchased. Also send out an update, it's been awhile since there was one.

It restarts my phone with everything i try to torrent. Please fix this. I really love vuze on my pc and i want to continue to use this on my phone
