Advanced Spectrum Analyzer PRO for Android
It's a major drawback to force landscape screen! I can't run multi window this way. Hence I can't generate tone and see it at same time. A properly designed graph shouldn't depend on the host dimensions. Will be 5 stars if this fixed!
This app seems very good. Various options are very useful. I suggest the developers to add few more add ons in the upcoming updates like storing raw data both time and frequency domain in the storage, weighting factors and octave bands.
Awesome! I love you! :D But could you please explain the window functions somewhere? Bug maybe: When screen dims, 7 peaks at various frequencys appear. :( And could you please add an FPS option? It's like 10 Fps, always...
Generally more stable than other similar apps, more customisation, and overall better aesthetics. Used this for my Physics Investigation regarding resonance frequency, worked like a charm. I can imagine results differ with different devices, but this worked fine on my Nexus 6P.
Seems to be the best at what it does. It would be nice if it supported a calibrated microphone such as Dayton Audio iMM-6 and if it was able to sweep the frequency from 20-20000Hz so we could analyze our speakers.
I was amazed by the results when I tested this app for my audio projects. I never thought a mobile device app could work accurately(almost) like a true sophisticated spec analyzer module. Thanks to Vuche Labs.
Awesome for those who are analysing their voice, would love it if there was an active widget with on/off feature. LOVE IT! PLEASE MAKE A WIDGET!
listen under the hood of your car... you'll be amazed at what you'll discover with regard to rotating components... this App is the closest representation of the Tricorder analyzer from Star Trek- Voyager
It would be nice if we could load a sound file and see the complete wave form zooming in to individual parts or simply play it and watch the wave form live as it plays.
Need a noise generation feature too for tuning the room. I'll wait for an update
Okay, but slow and not many features in comparison to other similar apps.
Screenshots are stored in internal storage rather than the installed SD card. Any idea how to change it?
Fantastic app! Just what i was looking for (Please dont add ads. This is a great experience)
I've tried all other sound analyzers on this market and I've just kept this one. Good stuff.
Refresh rate is too slow to be real-time, but has nice features
It's cool because it tracks the data of sound. This definitely can be used to monitor acting vocals, and music vocals.
Does what it should. Slight delay but works
Awesome! It hears much more than I do %)
Tells me just where that ring is in the sound system.
Add CVS file support to this app and I would be the first in line to pay for it
Great easy to use app. Just a suggestion, would it be possible to map the frequencies on the x axis to musical notes as an option?
Brilliantly done. Thanks for enabling different text sizes.
This is a nice little app it does exactly what I needed to do and that's why I'm rating it five stars, thank you.
Its so precise in capturing frequency spectrums and I love it for that.... _
Amazing I tried music disc 11 from minecraft it drew steve!!!
Very sensitive and spot on. Thanks!
Useful in identifying the sound spectrum frequencies and it's harmonic.
Ehh like Idk am I supposed to use a certain mic or is my phone mic suppose to be sufficient?
Excellent, but I wish the markers would show the Peak amplitude, not just the current amplitude.
The db scale needs to be logarithmic like the freq axis
Would be great if it could calibrate the mic.
Where does it store screenshots? Why there's no dB scale?
Great tool for explaining frequency domain to students
Include an mp3 file selection as input source
Screenshot not working, worthless junk.
Works just as expected. Thanks!
Shows instantly the frequencies.
Helped prove a point????
Tracked down some whirring/noisy equipment with this. Most useful (+_+)

Use this to true a bicycle wheel, it's imperative that all spokes have the same tension. They make a tone when plucked, this allows me to accurately see the fundamental freq and ignore the harmonics. Cursors are great to indicate the target tone when adjusting. If you could auto clear the peak hold after a configurable delay then restart it, this would be perfect.
