Techfunder: Kickstarter & more

Force close every time when hit back from fund raising web. Not able to locate older Kickstarter projects. No respond from app developer thru emails. Very disappointed.

First class App. Given my involvement with a large business focussed Charity, I like to be aware of similar projects that are seeking funding. This keeps me up to speed with developments in the areas of interest to me.The "search" facility enabled me to do this simply and quickly. From these searches I was also then able to identify projects I might be interested in personally funding.

Doesn't show many of indiegogo projects. Doesn't show even my projects. Shuts down. Doesn't sort properly. And many more problems. The new version didn't get any better!

The app is ok but is not up to date. Old campaigns keep appearing (even the ones that have long since ended) on the top and when you load the list goes back up and fills in some new campaigns between the ones you already went through. Some minor debugging should fix this

Simple, straightforward and effective. This latest version is just the ticket.

Liked the concept for its ease of use but I find it useless. There is no way of backing projects through this app. What a waste of a $1 upgrade. As far as I'm concerned you owe me my $ back. I've been swindled!

This app shows all your contributions from indiegogo & kickstarter by letting you add your profile from both sites. You can easily track to see the progress of those campaigns. You can keep a list of your favorite campaigns on indiegogo & kickstarter and follow them as well. You can also browse popular, new this week and ending soon campaigns, watch the videos or link directly to the webpage to make a contribution and purchase a perk. The app developer responded promptly to minor bugs and fixed them right away. Great app.

There is always a problem of details of the news not being loaded and end up with a blank screen. Good idea but really bad app

The kickstarter project I was interested in finding wouldn't show up in the search despite picking the games category and searching on a unique word in that project's title. The widget's "Select a project" screen can only show from favorited projects, so how can I select the project I want to track if I can't even find it in the main app? UPDATE: the devs turned around a fix for this issue in < 2 days. Highly impressed.

Full screen video play, project status not available. So lame app. Just adding 3 platform.

Seems to do something, but no good trying to use with Patreon.

The only app that claimed to support Patreon. I want to see a specific project by my favorite YouTuber but I couldn't find it in the search. I was searching for NISLT, on Patreon. Thanks for responding. Ill make sure to update my review if you do fix it. Update 8/26/15: THANK YOU DEVS! Can now find my favorite YouTuber on Patreon :) 5 stars for you.

I love this app. Perfect.

Favorites don't work. Giving money doesn't work. Profiles do not load completely. Search engine doesn't work. Please test your app before putting it here and wasting our time and bandwidth. Response: My network connection is fine, not that it would cause the aforementioned issues since they are based on your disfunctional software, but what else can be expected from a developer that can't be bothered to proofread their public responses, leaving then littered with as many grammatical errors as bugs.

Patreon pages won't show up reliably in favorites (they do when you first add them, but when you click refresh, they no longer are displayed) and the app crashes when you click on a Patreon page in the Popular section, then try to open their page in the browser. Overall a good idea but it's not completed.

It's good to see the new tech come out. It's because of the app that I knew about certain things that I funded. What is a little on the "mehh" side its that they don't display the prices on the app... That might be a marketing thing but if it isn't, then they should consider adding price and mayb specs...

Nice work having the upgrade to premium as an in-app purchase so users can't get their money back for something that doesn't offer any significant value. FYI potential buyers; you can't use this app to view updates on your backed projects. Waste.

Viewing 'ending soon' includes those that have already ended, but most frustrating is when you click 'load more' it doesn't add them to the bottom of the list they are added randomly throughout the list of already viewed!

Does nothing but give you a small break down of a project you find by searching. No way to back it. Does not show the full description (from Kickstarter anyway, didn't try other ones). Absolutely useless without being able to track backed projects and to back new ones.

Sneak preview at best. Don't bother. These folks need to find a better way to monetize.

If I can't click on get to a project to support/buy it , then why bother? Waste of time. I deleted it.

It shows some of the projects I have backed in both Indiegogo and Kickstarter, but not all of them. Some of the oldest and the newest are missing. Cannot see useful information such as full descriptions, backer levels, updates, or comments.

As other reviewers mentioned, the app imports kickstarter profiles correctly but says "profile not found" when attempting to import indiegogo accounts. Edit:4-3-2015 Indiegogo profiles still not working 2 months after notifying developer.

Paid to upgrade, however Indiegogo profile still not loading :-( would rate higher if fixed

Good app, will revise my reading and pay for extra features when the Indiegogo profile problem is fixed.

The Kickstarter portion works great, but I can't get Indiegogo to work right.

Easy to use and search. As others have stated, I cannot like to my indiegogo account.

This is awesome just the app that I was looking for, I would love to see some more new features. Like more crowd funding sites, more options to choose.

I love how the app combines Kickstarter and Indie GoGo but there's a few things I want to see changed in the future. I really wish that there was the full description of the campaign in this app instead of having to go out to the external site that the campaign is from. Under all of the free tags (popular, ending soonest, and new this week) aside from the first page, I can't load any beyond that. I would like to be able to see at least fifty (one hundred would be even better) campains in any of these lists.

The search function is nice. After added to favorites the favorites keep empty. Also when I add a widget the list is empty

Does what it says and does it well. One request let me filter by backer site. Sometimes particuarlly new ones I would like to only view the kickstarter items. But very much rely on this app two to four times a week.
