There will be a video link accompanying the firmware link, click on it to be shown how to update your device with the firmware.

The Orpheus P2P app uses the latest P2P connection technology and software so you can setup your remote monitoring connection without the need to perform any complicated router setup. Your DVR/NVR will have a unique P2P ID, which you will use to setup up the device on the app. Add your password for your device and that’s it! At the same time you can take photo snapshots of live video footage and store it to your phone for evidence collection.

The other main feature to this app is its ability to playback the recorded footage on the DVR/NVR to your smart phone. Just select the time and date of the when the footage was recorded and it will play what it has recorded from that point.

If I try to view more than 5 or 6 videos, it stops loading. Then when I close a reopen the app it doesn't connect to my DVR at all and I have to reboot the DVR. If I'm not home then this is quite an inconvenience.

Constant crashing when expanding a particular camera, or indeed with out doing anything at all. There is bound to be a way of creating stability??? Very very poor so far... idea is there but the application is unbelievably poor.

It gives a Device UID Error! message and doesn't work with local ip using the same port number setting as vMeye which does work.

Update, now supports wide-screen properly. Full screen and auto rotate. Well done! Changed stars from 3 to 5.Back in the late 2000s I was doing a lot of CCTV remote access installs. The new DVRs now open a port using upnp and register with adatas system providing reliable access even on dynamic ips. This seems to 'just work'. It probably won't work with cgnat though. The app is poor though, no full screen video, video is squashed into a 4:3 box despite being 16:9, No rotate option and app regularly crashes.
