LaView Mobile

The app needs to be fixed. Crashes constantly. When I view live video or playback video, it will freeze then all of a sudden crash. Please fix this as it is useless otherwise. Please do not buy this camera system. The whole purpose of having it is to be able to monitor it. With this app, it makes it nearly impossible to watch more then a minute before it crashes.

I love being able to view my camera's from anywhere. However every single time I try to view a playback it completely freezes. I can only view playbacks from my hard drive which is in a very inconvenient spot to have to sit and watch but I can't move it anywhere else. Please fix the playback feature and I'll give 5 stars!

Why in the world would you force your users to look at a screen telling you how convenient your app is every time they open it up and make them have to hit a tiny Ok button to get into it? It is ludicrous. Just open the app!!! If you want it to be convenient, have it save the last configuration that they used. Why make us go through selecting the device, view, and cameras every time? If there's something happening and you need to see it quickly, this app is merely a source of frustration. The same goes for the desktop software.

Awful, annoying, crashes, freezes, the worst, waste of time and money... Pretty much sums it up.

I used to be able to look at my home when I was at work and now I changed a modem not a router and now it no longer works. I have tried resetting everything and still nothing. Wasted my money I feel.

Constantly dropping connection with device. Not sure if it's the app or the system. Unimpressed

None of the Laview apps work anymore on my Galaxy S6. Cannot connect to device using correct info.

Very difficult play back, local videos just error and unable to download photos

This app is useless. I can almost never pull up my cameras.

The app won't work over 4G or other WiFi networks besides my home. It only works over my wifi.

Update-Crashing on all devices

I tried to open this while I was at work using their Wi-Fi. But my cameras won't load. Can you offer any suggestions?

LaView Live app stopped working after Moto X Gen 2 lollipop upgrade. basically everything appeared to be working fine just didn't show the video and after reading some reviews of Laview Mobile I thought I would give this a try and my security camera's are up and running again on my phone. very pleased and thanks for the updated app looks great and the video feed is a lot faster, within seconds. I do wish I could see full screen when looking at a particular Cam by itself but all in all just happy we are back

Have a galaxy S7 and it won't connect. I cannot find any laview software to monitor my cams currently. Very frustrated.

App sucks. Never can view my cameras. Internet on phone and on system is working but the app never can load the camera feed!

app crashes when switching from another app. the biggest problem isn't the app, it's the laughable requirement of Internet Explorer to be able to view your cameras from a browser. you can't use Chrome or Safari or Firefox or Vivaldi or Chromium or IceCat; NONE OF THEM. the security nightmare that is IE is required to view your security cameras. think about that.

I originally had issues with this app but after the recent update it seems they finally listened. I can now view in landscape mode, I can now pinch the screen to digitally zoom for my non ptz cams, I can choose SD and HD to control data usage or to see better on WiFi, and connection seems to be better on 4g now as well.

Won't even show my cameras. When I try to open them, the app crashes...

None of the Laview apps work anymore on my Galaxy S6. Cannot connect to device using correct info.

I had it working on my Hawei Glory, then I changed phones to an LG L22C Power. It seems to log in to the server but only shows black screens for the camera output. Un-installed it, then re-installed it, now it works again.

It looks different than just a few months ago. My other app stopped working after an Android update. I gave this a shot and it works better than the last version. The playback controls still don't work exactly right. I'm not sure why they have so much trouble writing an app, but they do.

Came here from Laview HD, was nearing replacing my system because I couldn't connect most of the time. This one works much better and the English actually makes sense (mostly).

I download this app because I got a new phone and the other app would not work for this model. I used it once, and now it won't let me access my cameras again and it keeps crashing, not sure why this is happening. PLEASE FIX ASAP!

This product is by far the worst on the market. This is a one shot, fly by night security system. This company and their crappy product will probably disappear in a year or so.
