Many people end up in the area en route to the Hudson River Park, the 550-acre park the city built in the late 90's at cost of $340 million.

At Waterfront Bicycle Shop, we rent quality hybrid bicycles- a local bike map, helmet, lock and optional basket as included with each rental. Most customers head across the street to the Manhattan Waterfront Greenway, a 32-mile bike path and park that circles the island to explore the waterfront from a bike path that is completely separated from auto traffic along most of its route. Additionally, we offer drop off bicycle tune ups and other in depth repairs and maintenance, as well as on the spot bicycle repairs and a large selection of bike parts and accessories.
