Łódzkie łączy z przyrodą EN

The VR application is designed for smartphones and VR goggles such as Google Cardboard. It invites to take a virtual trip to the Landscape Parks Province of Lodz (Zespol Parkow Krajobrazowych Wojewodztwa Lodzkiego).

The journey begins on the train of Lodzka Kolej Aglomeracyjna and leads to seven, several minutes long, VR movies (3D 360 degrees). The videos contain descriptions and photos available after interaction with an icon depicting an owl (so search for it!).

In the center of the field of view there is a viewfinder, which functions similar to mouse cursor. It will follow users head movements and always stay in the center. The "click" action is activated when the viewfinder is on the interactive object for few seconds.

After downloading the application on a smartphone users will see a screen with two choices of movies in high or low resolution. (High Res looks better, but requires a more powerful smartphone.)

It’s possible to download all seven movies from any Park, or start with one and download the others later.

There will be a blue stripe under the movie’s title showing the download progress. When selected films are downloaded a new icon will appear which allows going back to the previous screen.

Selecting "START" will run the application.
