NoTelURL for Android
It works. It's sad, though, that the community has to fix things because Samsung (and others) are incompetent.
I really hated this app because this app causes my mobile functions and also don't install easily , thank u

It's sad that this app is needed. Thanks so much for making it freely available!
Thanks man!
Thanks
Danke!
Works as intended
Seeing as I've waited four months for the home key fix I've probably got a year to wait until I get this update. But that's why I love android as the community is second to none. The app works and doesn't interfere with the phone. This should be on the homepage
Hallo mit manchen anti viren programmeb hat mab die möglichkeit das handy vom pc aus zu löschen und blockieren. Wird diese funktion dann auch blockiert?
Works, but doesn't offer to call in case that it's not malicious.
Does not work on HTC one S. Please support this phone. Thanks
Thanks and this protect
Who in the world gave 1 star?
Well done. One minor observation: replace "you are save now" with "you are safe now". Cheers
Excellent!

Just read about the issue on Heise Online and they recommenced your app. Good work!
Appreciate your help!
As Lookout has the same functionality included, this app is no longer needed.

works fine
I like it....
All good and safe.
Done great job
Danke.
Dev care enough about making it more useful, what a good guy.
As requested, fixes the security hole.
Thank you!
Eine sehr schnelle und saubere Lösung für die gravierende Sivherheitslücke.
Kudos to Joerg for coming up with an App for a backdoor affected OEMs have yet to address. I first learned of the bug through AndroidPIT and thankfully Joerg being a member there pointed me to his fix. Good to see no permissions are needed and I have tested the app on the test website. I can browse with peace of mind once again.
it doesn't show which code has been blocked. it just tells you some malicious code has been detected. --- on my sony ericsson mini pro (android 4.0 by sony), this issue doesn't hurt me at all. sony wisely shows the phone app and waits for me to press the call button and shows which humber will be called. i
N wen an app requires no permission it is something cool!
But other apps (like NoUSSD) are better!
Considered that this started just a "quick & dirty" workaround it works as advertised. It's better than no protection at all - and it's now the manufacturers job to get their Android versions secured - at least by NOT automatically dialing a number, but displaying it and asking for confirmation, so we don't need such workarounds and can use the convenience to use tel:-URLs for real phone calls.

Unknowingly my phone was infected with the ussd vulnerability. Dialed a number one day and all of a sudden my screen froze and a pop up stated, 'ussd code running', thought fast and pulled the battery to stop all the numbers that were running their course inside the pop up, if those numbers reached the end of their cycle my phone would have forced itself to do a complete factory reset. What a pain that is. Did my research found,' NoTelURL' and installed. Now all is fine for over a year. Works as stated.
