V/Line

New version is amazing. Can finally see the platform the train is departing from. Good job vline! On a side note, the app displays a bit strange on my s8+ due to the longer screen size. The button that displays the next 4 services at the bottom is partially up from the botton of the screen. Doesn't impact the app, but would be nice to have it optimised for newer phones and screens.

OMG IT SHOWS PLATFORM DETAILS! THANKYOU!!! Now, one other thing is that it would be great if it lets you go back a few minutes - after the train's scheduled departure has elapsed, it disappears from the screen. It would be good if you could go back and see what was there. A full timetable would be a better alternative using the same UI as the current main UI - Just let it allow you to go back and forth to the next 4 and previous 4 departures. The PDFs are too cumbersome for a phone.

Only has vline train stops and not vline bus services. The train doesnt stop in tallygaroopna, wunghu, numurkah or cobram but they are still a vline service. Absolutely useless for regional services.

Handy app until i temporarily changed my departure from location. Now it wont let me change it back. It will also randomly display trips to southern cross despite me being at a southern cross. It used to be accurate before the last update

Great update. Shows platform to board on. Cleaner and sleek design. 5 stars

Would be useful if it was accurate and included trains running late, at the moment it's really just an electronic timetable and doesn't add anything

Like it. Finally platform numbers. I also like arrival and departure information for Southern Cross.

What is the point in having an app telling you the time a train is leaving the station, if it doesn't tell you that a train has been cancelled and still lists it as the next train? Update 15/3/17: still the same problem. Be nice to see some work done to improve this app

When it works it's great. Unfortunately it doesn't work often and it crashes

Simple to use but could be better. I recently shifted home from one town to another but there was no menu item to alter the "home " station.

Next 5 part does not tell final destination of train, or platform. But station departure boards show final destination but not stops in between. So to find platform at southern cross, my only clue is a train departure time. Clearly some usecases are required for testing.

Doesn't tell you if your train is delayed still waiting for a train 20 minutes late

Very useful app.

Can't look up the future timetable of a service (most basic use for such an app) to see what service options there are, only next 5 from a station. The trip planner doesn't fill this need (have to set a time), and the link to download a timetable pdf does not even work properly.

Slow. Daggy. Wish Offi still had access to these timetables cos it's the BEST PT app ever and this is a tricycle next to the Rolls Royce that is Offi.

When will the app report platform numbers and real time information? It will actually be useful then

Why do we still not have simply platform data. Yarra tram have loads of data in their app but vline can't even provide a platform number.

Uninstalling the app, not working at all. Absolutely useless if I have to ring V/line to get train times.

Says there isnt trains running today.. and says the next train is in 12 hours.. both wrong. Not helpful at all

Next 5 has no refresh button and keeps telling me there are no trains on the Geelong line in both directions. Certainly saw trains when I got to the station this morning. Have tried clicking between Live Line Status and back to Next 5 but it is still not updating. I have also just uninstalled it and reinstalled, still not working...

This app is very useful and works well for me, however I haven't found a way to remove routes I don't need anymore. Good work otherwise though.

After editing a created Travel Plan I end up with another pair of travel plans, from 2 becomes 4, then 6,... Otherwise it looks better than previous version.

no way to find the platform next train stopping at my home station is departing from. If I have to go and check displays what for I need this app at all...

Just doesn't work properly. Too hard to explain here. I suggest a developer tries to use this. Very disappointed.

App doesnt work, has been saying 'loading' for over 15mins

This app is handy but it could be improved by telling you how long delays are and if the trains have been councled and replayed by buses.

Used to use this 12 months ago and loved it then. Now it's even better. Could only get better if it gave platform info from Southern Cross. That would be 6 stars. :)

Good app, tells me what time my trains are at but it really needs to sat what platform the trains will depart from at southern cross as I really do not like having to run from one end of the station to another trying to figure out where I need to be

I can't seem to remove routes that I have previously set its quite annoying to have to scroll through irrelevant information before I reach the intended page.
