Volumio Web App for Android
Every time I use it I have to manually enter the IP. Why? Once that's done it works well but what's the point in a save button if it does nothing?
Just connect to same wifi as volumio device and enter the volumio device IP address into ANY browser. This app is redundant, and poor anyway. Needs upkeep, rune app better but volumio detected digi+ automatically so 'won'
Screen stays grey. You might think it's doing nothing until I tapped the grey and skipped around in the track. It's connected but not loading the page. Browser time
I put ip number but the app is not finding Volumio. Of course it can be found on pc or web browser in the phone. Useless for me then.
Rubbish. Doesn't work on either of my (v6) android devices. It's a shame because the system itself is good. Oh well back to runeaudio.
I can connect through a browser on the ip fine, but the app just goes grey and does nothing
... Volumio remote but on my Nexus 5X can't have the play back and Que tab show correctly!
Entering the IP address just takes me to a grey screen. If I put in a wrong address I get a different screen so it's definitely failing somehow.
Doesn't work on S7 edge. Doesn't display the web interface. You can interact with something, but doesn't show anything; just blank screen...
Couldn't even get it to remember the IP address and even after having typed in the IP address, nothing happened. Going back to RuneAudio ;-)
Stable. Nice interface. Works. But why not save IP address? Also back button works differently from how I expect it to based on other apps. Play/Pause button shows what it is currently doing rather than what it will do, so you hit Play to pause and hit Pause to play.
For some reason, the playback tab now loads totally broken... The play list and song info say NaN, and the volume and nav bar are all chopped up and unusable ... EDIT: if anyone has this problem, just reinstall, that fixed it for me
Why bother releasing something so useless!!.... Nothings works on my Nexus 6 with 7.0. No save.. nothing ... Pointless
Doesn't work at all on my Galaxy tab 10s. I can connect through a Web browser, but can't connect with the app.
Doesn't save It address and loads grey screen.
Enter the IP address and then nothing...
Dont work on Note Edge & Volumio2
Doesn't work, waste my time.
Crap. Awful crap. Crapilly awful. Shite even...
Does not work!
Plain and simple: doesn't work. After entering the IP address shows a grey screen.
...but doesn't work with Volumio 2
Doesnt work, you enter IP and nothing happens, yet Volumio is fine through a browser. Either fix the app or just get people to use browser coz it's useless!
Version 1.0.5 stays connected version 1.0.7 always has to connect every 3 to 20 seconds! Sick of having to re navigate through my library every few seconds its a real pain and version 1.0.5 on my phone does not do this. I use my tablet for my setup so Please Fix!
Doesn't work anymore. I can see the page but cannot start playing anything from the library or change the volume. In a normal browser everything works fine
Works OK when it wants to. Stop button seems to get virtually stuck down and then won't allow me to play spotify tracks. Won't save ip address settings either. Android lollipop on nexus 5x.
Rather than having a web browser based app.
Save button doesn't work, Android6
Works when it feels like it. Doesn't save a static ip address. Not particularly user friendly. A good program spoiled by a third rate app.
Decent app, works fine. But, I wish it would save the IP address. I seem to have to type it in every time I want connect. If it could save IPs in a list for wired or WiFi, or something. That would make it easier to connect.
Doesn't save IP. Why not save the IP and just start the interface?
Two things don't work on my Marshmallow Nexus 7: First, the save button doesn't work. I've to type in the ip for each use. It doesn't make my Synology shared folder available to me. This, however, might have something to do with my sever side setting too.
It worked awesome on kitkat but gives me a a blank screen after I enter the ip and hit next on lollipop. For now I use the browser as some of the other mpd client are not as good as this. I even did a custom equaliser hack for my volumio and it pulled it in on this app in kitkat. I guess it's a wrapper around the browser almost. Either way good work hope future updates will work on lollipop for me.
Installed OK. Connected OK. Then kept forgetting the IP address. After hours of playing around, you have to put in the IP address at the top, go to the next field (port number) and click on on the phone, then click on the arrow to connect. C'mon guys, this really is a simple fix!!!!
Latest version will not connect to volumio. Chrome browser connects fine on same Android device and web ui works. (5* for volumio) Reinstalled the app, verified IP etc. Will not connect.. Please give us a break with the foul language !
... but now just hams when trying to connect to the Volumio Raspberry Pi I have. I can access the Web UI from the same device no problem. Clearing cache /data doesn't help. Great when it worked though.
App does not remember last IP
Chrome browser still works
Had to type port number (80) and the press the tick on the keyboard - works. No diff to web browser at first glance....pointless app...which is a shame. Thanks tho :)
