Car Diagnostics Pro VAG OBD2 for Android
re-edit: how to contact developer?? Because OBDeleven pro adapter is not connect to my samsung S3 i9300 intenational and neither on other samsung S3 i747. why??? Please dev always improve and update!! Regards from Romania(PLEASE add romanian language for DTC, DARK THEME and some adaptations/coding video tutorials for dumbs )
Its a good tool but they need to improve on stability, app response and network connectivity issues
Love it, go pro you'll love it!
Could be nice to be able to manage my passat 2014 a/c recicle button as my GTI.
Decent scanner, the long coding and apps are limited for mk4 bora and b6 passat.
This app needs access to my location for unknown reason
ODBeleven is awesome! My car is cool and the chicks dig it..
Easy and does most of what's needed
Well worth it!
One word..awesome
Done so many adaptations, you don't need a VCDS cable with this. REMEMBER though , some adaptations require you to reset the system in the MFD otherwise it appears it has not taken effect. No brainer and saves you hundreds. Not sure why people are complaining about paying for credits with full version as they are only to use the apps and everything can be done in adaptation and long coding.
You have really got to get rid of the credit system. It relegates your product to another cheesy money sink app. It takes away any satisfaction of even purchasing your obd2 device knowing you're just gonna get nickel and dimed everytime you use it. I would've paid more for the unit had I had the prospect of having a cool app to use freely but you don't give any buyer that opportunity. It's a bad profit model. You really need to change it.
There are several sensors that are installed in my car that the OBDEleven detects as not being installed rendering the app changes useless. I enjoyed being able to to do coding but it required a lot more research than should have been required for an adapter that cost as much as it did. I'm hoping for changes in the future that apply to my B6 A4, but I'm not holding my breath.
Good in theory, pretty terrible in practice. In the two weeks of owning it, I've gotten a full diagnostic scan to work exactly twice, and that was talking to support multiple times. They also couldn't even tell me what the problem was. Tried on two different phones, several reinstalls of the app, repeatedly having to delete the cache on the app and Bluetooth... Support really needs more people, I usually wouldn't get a response for days. (They're based in Europe, I'm in the US, I understand not immediately responding, but days?) There really needs to be more documentation. There's not really any troubleshooting guidelines if it doesn't work out of the box like it's supposed to. For example to scan certain modules, the care has to be on but not running, door's unlocked, and headlights off. I also suspect air and radio have to be off, as that's the only way it would scan for me. But nothing told me that, it was all guessing on my part. In short, this is a brilliant idea that looks sleek and I'd imagine is great if it worked more often than not, but it's suffering from such a small team. It feels like a pre alpha build that was dressed up as a finished product. As soon as the bugs are worked out, more documentation is added, and more customer support is implemented, it probably will be great... But it's not there yet.
So i actually bought this...keep getting errors on throttle body basic setting and adaptation. Bought this product just to do that and now im stuck. Will be looking for a refund. It is basically a good VW specific scanner though
Very useful for those of us who like to tweak our vehicles settings. I've used it to code in my LED tails on my MK6 GTI, and used a couple of the "apps". I took one star off for having to purchase credits every time you want to tweak a setting WITHIN an app. It would nice if it were a single cost to purchase access to an app and tweak settings within the app as much as you want. I did have intermittent connectivity issues with my Samsung Tab S2, but didn't have those same issues with my Samsung S7 Edge. I'd rather use the bigger screen however, ESPECIALLY when coding. I don't use it for error code reading since I have a Cobb Accessport for that, but this is a handy little tool for both coding and clearing/investigating error codes. Hopefully development continues to clear up connectivity bugs, add apps for all late gens of the GTI, and eventually a long coding helper. So far, so good though.
A decent portable obd scanner - programming device. Much cheaper than vcds. Developers should consider adding long coding bits descriptions - helper. It's a great minus for the app that leaves you "blind" clicking checkboxes. I know you can find a few info on the internet regarding long coding codes (not for all car models) but for a non experienced user like me it's a nice to have thing. Or you should consider making apps free for the pro users (my modest opinion, i understand your needs for a few extra €€). Besides that the app has a very nice ui and the history log for the changes is a good feature for knowing what you 've done and also for rollback purposes.
Have an old 1999 Audi A4 Quattro and this works well. Only thing I would like to see added is an E-Mail ALL the scan results or at least be able to save them to a file [Edit] ... Thanks for the reply ... that worked just fine ... Old eyeballs on my end ... I should have seen that :)
I will give 5 stars when channel and coding descriptions are added. A long coding helper would be nice as well. You can do anything VCDS can do but it takes more time and research due to the missing descriptions of the data you are receiving. I actually prefer OBDeleven over VCDS because I don't need to keep a laptop or cable attached to the diagnostics port.
Excellent, well worth the cost of the device that goes with this. Token system is a little strange but tokens are easy to accumulate. It's easy to find long coding and menu choices online for most of the token dependent apps anyhow. The ability to find and clear proprietary codes may be valuable once car is out of warranty. .
Scanning lag... cant scan for problems.. app get stuck .
I was trying to use 75 Telematics and do some coding but it doesn't work. It says success but when I check the code it wasn't changed at all
It does everything I want it to do, and things I have yet to look into. Good solution and convenient Bluetooth.
very useful app . Faults can be identified . I like the links to technical sides you can find a lot about solutions .
I need credits? Are you serious? Uninstalled, worst experience ever.
Works very well on my C7 Audi A6 great way to customize settings and scan ODB!
i have the pro version. good investment and great yet simple portable scanning solution.
Not detecting my elm BT device.
i Have Never Had Such An Awesome Diagnose Tool Way Better Then My VCDS
What's the point of a trial version if it disables all functions?
Great app and product as good as the expensive vcds products but at a fraction of the price
Very good app and very capable
Does not support my corsa
This app is very helpful. It's my favorite tool.
I love it. Disabled my DRLs
Really good tool.
Good value for money
The app + obd2 adapter combo has saved me a few hundred pounds enabling features available on my car.
Works on my audi a4 1995.

I use for my Audi, I have 2 other brand programmers, this is the one I use the most. Really nice device worth the money for Pro version.
