So far, so good. This app has all the functionality that I like, thus far. Had to contact customer support to figure out how to input recurring transactions. I received a quick and helpful response. Once I got that figured out, all was well. The only reason I'm giving 4* is because I've not quite yet used the app to its fullest potential. I will update when that time comes. Until then, I am quite satisfied with this app.

I will probably also upgrade to the paid version. Another enhancement that would be nice is the ability to enter more than 1 category per transaction. This would be very useful when I go to the department store to buy groceries, pet food, and household goods all on the same receipt. Another thing I would like would be to have the numbers be in calculator order as opposed to phone order.

I've been using Volkron CheckBook for over a year now and it has proven to be one of the most useful app on my phone. It took a few months before I trusted it enough to stop using the written checkbook register but I haven't missed it at all. You just archive and print everything within a given period and there you are. Another plus; it doesn't make mistakes. I keep a close eye on my checking account using the bank's online service and this has been way more trouble-free than when I wrote it all by hand. Honestly, I think this is one of the most useful apps in Google Play.

Update - The more that I use this app, the more I love it. It is so easy to use and intuitive so I don't have to retype entries that I have used before. To compensate for the lack of reminders (which they say they will incorporate in the future), I downloaded the Easy Bills Reminder app. I can put reminders for my recurring deductions and it works very well to notify me for a recurring transaction. I am satisified. Original comment - I like this app. I just wish that it had reminders so I would get a notification when a recurring charge is deducted from my account.

I like the simple interface - that's key to what I'm looking for. The one thing I can't seem to find anywhere is the ability to see upcoming/pending recurring transactions... Every app only shows them once the date comes and goes which leaves no room for planning ahead - this should be the whole point of tracking your money. Thanks!

If you're looking for a plain check register - then you'll love this app. I'm glad I found this one and ditched the one I'd had for several years. This app may be able to do much more than I use it for, but I love it's features. Pay the small fee for the upgrade. It's worth it!

A great little app. It's easier to keep up with your checking acct's when it's at arms reach verses writing it in your check book or waiting to get to your home computer. I only wish when you backup your acct on Google DRIVE it would write over it instead of making a new file. Still no big deal.

Tidy, intuitive app for replacing a physical check register. Enables me to do checking account tracking on the go, which allows me to stay more on top of it. Does the math automatically keeping at bay those frustrating balancing sessions of finding out where I goofed up. Love the exporting feature for record-keeping. All in all super useful.

I just wanted a checkbook register that I could export in a nice format. I still write checks with numbers on them so I needed a code field. I wanted the to/from field separate from category and separate from note. I tried 18 apps. This is the winner. I love the filtering, the periodic bills/income, I love how you can export all the accounts in one command for a particular timeframe yet each acct is in its own .csv file. I wish you could have zero dollars as a valid amount for voided checks and for periodic bills with variable amounts.

This app has some nice features. My only criticism is that it's rather ugly. I feel like I'm in a square, white, stone building with steel furniture in a bank run by Russians. Everything is very efficient, but completely devoid of any style or beauty.

Excellent Checkbook Register. Not fancy but solid app. Only thing I am missing is live device sync with my tablet - would like to see that feature in the future. Until then I'm searching for one that does.

Love this app for a simple checkbook register. Very easy to navigate! Lost all my info from my last app that I was using & found this one; wish I had found this one a long time ago! Purchased the paid version within an hour of downloading the free version! Thanks for a great app!

This is an updated review. I started using this app at the beginning of the year and I upgraded to the paid version. I have never kept better track of my money ever. This app makes it so easy. Would like recurring transfers, but the recurring transactions suffice. LOVE IT!!!!!!

I had originally given this app a poor rating as I assumed the customer service were delayed in assisting me. However, they were closed for the weekend. The customer service department reached out to me the following business day and answered my question which was an easy fix. Very hopeful about using this app!

Absolutely love this app. Replaced my existing check registers I've been using for years. Multiple account friendly, does the math for you, and you can check/uncheck when an item clears your bank. Giving 5 stars, but please make the backup more accessible - wasn't able to open in any program. I like to backup once a week. Thanks!

This is a very good checkbook program. I enjoy using it, and like the features and ease-of-use. Hell else for periodic transactions, multiple accounts, and shows a running total Plus and in total and a reconciled total. There's one feature I would like to request, which would be the ability to long press a transaction and duplicate it and change the date. I have recurring transactions and prefer to just duplicate them this way.

Just downloaded this app last month and I will update after at the end of this month after using this app. I do like all the features so far and will let you know what i think but as of now I have no complaints. I'm completely satisfied right now.

Nice app very easy to use, the support is terrific (Julio) . Emails replied to quickly. Edit. have been using app for about 6 weeks now, very good. Requested two actions (1. Total for all accounts and ability to not include certain accounts in total) Both implemented, what more could you ask for. Also informed via email when changes made. Great support.

I love this app. It's easy to use. I always know what my actual balance is... Only thing I don't like is that when I switched phones, and logged in my entries weren't saved. Had to start all over.

I really like this check register. It's big enough to see well even in my phone. It makes balancing easy with the verify feature. The only thing I'd like to see is being able to delete more than one entry at a time for after I balance for a month.

Great app, just what I needed for a no nonsense checkbook. My only complaint is that it cuts off the ending zero in the cents. So if i enter $120.30, it displays. $120.3

I like the app. I wish there was color coordination to where we can compare what payment went through and what is still pending when we are looking on our online bank statement. Other than that it's pretty good to use.

Great app so far. The only thing I can't seem to find is a way to do an automatic daily backup to Drive. If it had that it would be a 5.

My 16 year old daughter found this app to track her allowance, and now paycheck etc. I was surprised by how much she was able to do, including back-ups! For someone who's always needing to get a new phone at the worst possible time; that was a deal maker for me:-) We both purchased the premium version, and have been tracking happily since. Basic and easy to use. One less item to lug around with me and keep track of. So far it's been great. Update: I liked it enough to purchase the app, after only using it for 1 day.! Does everything I need it to do and is extremely user friendly. Updated to 5 stars after using it.

Helps me stay up-to-date on my account usage. I need all the help I can get. Easy to use. So easy that even my husband is using it for his accounts now.

Love this app. Makes my life easier and I don't have to think about what I have in my account. I have enough to worry about, and my balances aren't one of them

This app is excellent! I use it to keep track of everything. I am able to keep accurate records of my checking and savings accounts, all credit cards, lines of credit, and all categories of both personal and business expenses. I know at a glance now what I spend on fuel, groceries, fast food, business supplies, etc. You can use this app for literally anything you need to keep running tabs on.The uses of this app are endless without having to download other individual apps for the same thing.

Would be great if myself and my husband could both use it from our phones so we could have the same amount information. I have yet to find an app that allows this.

What this app lacks in some of what I found as less necessary features, like our charts, it makes up for in ease of use AND A COMPLETE LACK OF ADS IN THIS FREE APP. I may just upgrade to premium simply because the devs didn't make a good app less good by trolling for ad generated revenues.

Great app. Does exactly what it is suppose to do. Track the amount of funds in as many accounts as you like. You can even transfer between accounts if you need to. Keep in mind, this is not a spending tracker. (Though it can be used as one of necessary). This is a ledger that allows you to record each transaction you make. Fantastic job putting this app together. I LOVE IT!!

Great app. I used a different checkbook app until they decided to disappear. I switched to this one and was so glad I did. It has everything I want and then some.

Using Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, this checkbook app works simply & beautifully. Would be better if decimal was automatic but this is still the best checkbook app I've used. Easy to use & read.

Really good app. Haven't been able to sort by date yet, but overall very good app Update: I was able to figure out how to sort by date, so therefore I'm overall very pleased with this app

It keeps crashing when you look at the statement section as well as it does not recognize all transactions when you do a month to date. Have tried asking for help on this and have yet to hear anything from any one. Disappointed.

Absolutely perfect to balance my checking and savings. Fast, easy entry and at-a-glance running balances of certified and unverified expenses. Going to buy Pro so I can download to Excel and generate annual reports for taxes. Fab!

Very nice app. The only thing I think it needs are the ability to add a time to each transaction for when it happened instead of just the date.
