Before upgrading to 6.0.1 this app was best call recorder, but on 6.0.1 error message pops up and recording fails. Error message says some kind of 'violation' and I couldn't find any setting for permission. If this error go on, I have to choose downgrade or find another recording app.

Awesome app for on the fly voice memo and thoughts. Subscribed to transcription service...it is horrendous. I'm a native English speaker (Australian, but still...) probably gets one word right in 100. Google voice to text is almost perfect by contrast.

It takes a little time to transcribe, so wait for it. Testing for few days to purchase full version. I was searching for this kind of app for a long time, finally I found this. A lot of merits for the developers.

The app is a fantastic voice recorder, but I have several of those. The app fails to recognize when I'm in a phone call to Auto record phone calls. The transcriptions are also very poor. It's a shame the features to the voice recorder do not work as advertised. UPDATE: 5 months later on 7.0 same issues and featureless.

Recording is fine. Transcription is essentially mumbo jumbo.

I tried to buy this but it will not accept that I am logged into my account. Fail.

Records great but app closes when you attempt to share a recording.

I tried giving this app the best shot at transcribing my recording and it wasn't even close to the words I had spoken. Not only that but I could not even import my previous audio recordings to have them transcribe. I seriously hope this app will fix all these issues then I will try it again as for now I uninstalled and looking for an app that can do this. I don't see how this can even be a paid app? It simply does not work at all.

I've recently installed this on a Galaxy S7 and it seems mostly useless. I get lots of complicated error messages about Java or something. No recordings. I even tried the full year transcription subscription for about $30.00. Over a month of trying and all I get is error messages. Great concept, unfortunately not working for me:(

I want to love this app but it has more than a few times crashed system UI in the middle of recording now, discarding the recording altogether. Worst of all this happens only when the recording has gone on for rather long and that often wastes a whole 30 - 40 minutes worth of recording.

Love this app. Unfortunately, since my Marshmallow upgrade last night the auto call record fails. Java.lang.IllegalStateException: StartRecording() called on an uninitialized AudioRecord. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but having the same issue. Will leave as one star until resolved.

Hi in app purchases, what is cost, is it a once off cost?

Beyond horrible

Pretty convenient because it's always on your drag down menu on your phone, but also very easy to accidentally record.. It also shows exact location of where the recording took place... A little weird!!!

It is picking too much noise with my nexus 4 mic, but with external Samsung earphones(basic one) it is recording very little noise..why so,I don't get it.. Also why for free trial we have to give credit card info,? Change that and it'll be 5 stars ,I just wanted to see how it performs ,I have never tried such app b4

Excellent recorder and I have tried a few! Voisi works really well and the development team responded so quickly to my request to record from a Bluetooth earpiece! Definitely stick with this one.

Simple. Easy. Smart. Simplicity doesn't have to take the place of a stylish, intuitive design. That's what I love so much about this app.

... 30 years on... and still waiting for an ocr tool that works. I'm happy to see that you are trying to progress in this area, but while this tool is a brilliant sound recorder it is completely unable to translate my recordings into even vaguely useful text.

Best app love it

Amazing app just for the recorder alone! The interface is beautiful. The features are very rich. The concept of bookmarking points in the recording is extremely useful. The recording quality is also extremely good and even better than most simple recording apps. Just two features to make it perfect: add an option to enable do not disturb while recording so the phone doesn't record its own sounds, and the other is to hide the incoming/outgoing from the menu if the call recording feature is not activated.

I have a free transcription already with no subscription. I just use Google Voice and take a screen grab when I'm done. I wouldn't touch a subscription offer from the Pope himself. Too much trouble

App does a great job of recording and is easy to use once you have practiced. My only complaint is it lacks a pause feature for use during playback. You have to realize where you are in the playback and slide the playback indicator to the desired area. A small tweak that would enhance greatly.

Downloaded the App....havent used it yet...but excited to explore its potential.....I have read the reviews which caused me some concerns regarding the accuracy of the transcriptions. It would be used to transcribe important meetings in the mental health field where accuracy is of the utmost importance especially using medical terminology. I will do a couple of test runs and if works like it says it does...I will give a glowing 5Plus star review.

I use this app frequently in my work for recording meeting notes. It works great!

I subscribed to try the unlimited transcription offer but days later I'm still waiting for recordings to be transcribed. Short ones have worked. I've no need for a new voice recorder but would be happy to pay for the transcription they offer if it worked.

It's a very nice useful app with a brilliant design that I actually enjoy using. There were some bugs but after I emailed the dev they quickly issued updates and last update fixed the issue for me. I look forward to seeing new updates that continue to bring improvements to the app.

I said "learning" and it typed "their knee", and many other mistakes. I know it's my accent, but if the error is like 90% what good can I get from this app?

I am using the built-in dictation function in the swift keyboard to dictate this report. And the transcript is pretty much perfect. Voisi does not work particularly well and the built-in function in the swift keyboard is much better. The transcript errors in Voisi are close to 60 70%. Maybe it is due to my English accent. Who knows, but Voisi is pretty much useless for me.

Can't record call in Sony Xperia z5

First problem is the length of time it takes to transcribe. Second problem is the transcription is poor for an alpha test. Needs a lot of work. Next it has settings to record calls. Didn't record calls. I will try again after a couple of updates.

And I'd pay pretty well for one that does what this claims it does. But subscription models are the scourge of the internet, and just, no way.

I hope development on this one continues, because it's really a great voice recorder. However, the transcribing takes forever.

This app is not very good at transcribing what I say. It's really choppy, misses words and puts .... after every few words even when speaking in a full sentence.
