NotEnoughSpace for Android
Every app moved fc. Rubbish. Get Titanium backup pro.
Doesn't work. Programs keep disappearing!
Once you move an app it can never be moved back (ownership error), even after reinstall. Moved apps stopped working, so they're permanently broken.
Took a few minutes to figure it out but works perfectly on my Droid Incredible. Just moved Google Earth and BAM 17MB freed up!
Does exactly what it says for my Incredible. I'll be buying another copy for the wife's as well. Must have app for Incredible users!
Free apps
Titanium backup shows 0 apps now. Moving to emmc works until I reboot.
Saw this mentioned on Andriod Forums as a fix for the DInc space issues. Tried it. Works beautifully. Couldn't be happier. :-)
Unable 2 retrieve partition size on stock ROM, refunded, piece of crap
To avoid apps getting "lost", don't move an app's entire folder, just the big subdirectories. Using Android's built-in app-to-SD first might help too
Didn't work on my zte blade.
Getting " Unable to detect shell (2). Is your phone properly rooted. " error. My phone is rooted, has superuser and the latest Busybox.
Works perfectly! Why android doesn't make this storage space more visible confounds me. Thank you for filling this void. HTC Incredible.
My only complaint about this app, which I got working perfectly now that I upgraded my Busybox version, is that it doesn't check that the mount it does when you use it's own partition was successful. Busybox 1.11.1 (and some versions right before and after that) don't do loopback mounts successfully. "Busybox Installer" on the market upgraded to the latest release, the "Busybox" program failed to do the upgrade. A plus that NotEnoughSpace detects where your latest busybox release is at.
This is one of the have-to-have, install-immediately apps for your Android device. Complete control over which apps' data to push onto the SD card.
Moved apps to SD and cached data where nothing else would. Doubled free space on tiny SGS4G phone memory. Simply brilliant!
No apps would run after moving. Phone required a factory reset to regain basic functionality. Cannot overstate how dangerous this app is. Dinc.
You earned your $3 from me. Thanks a bunch! Well worth the money.
Moved google earth to partition. Reclaimed 30mb of storage. Awesome! Worth the $3.
Dosnt work properly applications do not work a after a reboot of the phone
Droid incredible- app would not work after moving
Wow, actually worked ... DO NOT move entire app folder ... Go into main app folder, and move large sub folders ... NOT the entire app. Saved my sanity
"Unable to detect shell (2). Is your phone properly rooted?" Well, su and busybox work. What more do I need to be "properly" rooted?
This issue drove me nuts and couldn't find any decent info or solution until I found this miracle. I now run it every couple of weeks...amazing the amount of cache waste some apps build up or how much of this partition some apps use (Google earth used 35MB out of the 150 without cache). For those with older phones, an absolute MUST HAVE!
"Unable to detect shell (2). Is your phone properly rooted?" Well, su and busybox work. What more do I need to be "properly" rooted?
I was able to quickly find the MyMetro app was taking up over a GIG! of my internal storage. Although I had to use Titanium backup to clear the data
What a load of crap didn't work, tried getting refund kept saying can't do refund at moment uninstalled anyway. I would strongly advice not to buy.
Works great on Dinc running 2.2. Works not-so-great on Dinc running 2.3. Lots of "ownership info" issues on attempted restorations so ended up uninstalling/reinstalling several apps. Hopefully the dev will make some updates to play nicely with GB.
How do you connect the SD card to the PC in mass storage mode after this application is installed and in use? It does not seem to let me, no matter what I try doing to connect.. But says it is NotEnoughSpace causing it..
Thanks! The HTC incredible is truly crippled without this app. I now have a 2GB NES partition to supplement that paltry 149MB data partition.
This saved me. I rooted 2.3.4 then installed this app, created a 2GB nes partition - done! I'm up for renewal but will stay with the droid incredible!
Dalvik clr trashed phone; had to use backup. Move app only worked once copying to cache part. , not at all 2nes. No way to eval in 15m for refund.
It really does free up space on /data/data which kills you on the HTC Incredible (running Cyanogenmod 7.1). However, some of my apps were very unhappy. Here are a few: Gmail, Google Maps, Google Reader, IMDB, Movies (Flixter), TweetCaster Pro, Amazon AppStore. Regardless, this should hold me over until I can get a fancy new phone.
Great app, works perfectly if you know what you're doing. Works as described and fixed my Droid Incredible's error, so HTC should pay for it. Oh well.
Save your money...all this app does is break your existing apps and then force close on itself. Running a Droid Incredible with CM7 and the latest BusyBox install.
Extremely useful but backup first because it scrogs some apps.
Couldn't use my HTC Incredible without this app. Was always "out of space". Thanks for fixing HTC's mistake.
Didn't work, glad I backed up first because it ruined my apps installed to SD card
I was considering getting rid of this phone until getting this app. Was able to free up 50mb on the 149mb partition. Thanks for taking the time to make it.

Finally, an app that fixes the annoying out-of-space messages. Works perfectly on Droid Incredible (rooted with stock ROM).
