GYF is a launcher that is available anytime, regardless of which application you are currently using.
Simply fling your finger from a screen border, or use an alternate gesture, and a list of your installed applications as well as running applications will be displayed. Quickly select one to launch it.

Such a great application! Easily one of my favorites. This is the first app. I've bought that I had no real need for the paid version. I love the xtra options in the paid version, but I bought it simply to support this awesome developer/human. He constantly takes advice from users and implements their ideas quickly and beautifully. Recently I bought the donate version to support the developer and for boot startup functionality, only to discover crashing issues as another reviewer reported. Happily, these issues are fully resolved in the new (July 2013) iteration. I've got my baby back! Some apps are clever; others are handy; this one is a game changer. Best $2 spent on Android.

This app has a major flaw and you only find out after purchasing it: It randomly clears the User Drawer, removing what you specifically added. Extremely frustrating after you spend a lot of time making it just the way you want.

Filled two holes: Easy to check for memory hogs left running; provides app drawer for Widgetboard (my homescreen). I open it up using a home-search key sequence configured in Home2Shortcut. I don't lock the service in mem...please eliminate the popup that occurs each time the service restarts. Thanks.

In my opinion, this is the best of the 'side' launchers. The author is very receptive to suggestions and fixes bugs quickly. I tried the free version for a few days and realized I was using the app all the time. I then purchased it and haven't regretted it a second. Give it a try!
