Diaspora Webclient Alpha for Android
It lags like crazy when scrolling.. note 4. Other then that it does the job.

Woks well on my tablet but on phone menus to left and right are missing.
This place us a far cry from how it used to be. This one guy was being blatantly transphobic while labelling himself transwomen while saying we are basically men below the waist. Want to know why diaspora is not growing? Because of a lack of terms of service, particularly in terms of descrimination.

almost unusable on android 4.2. sharing links from chrome to diaspora frequently fails (link is not pasted into textfield) and pasting a custom text does not work at all. several times the phone got completely frozen with diaspora app opened.
Close Facebook and go to Diaspora :)
Free, secure, privacy social network
I hope it evolves beyond this point. It's slower than connecting straight through the browser and some buttons don't work.
Installed on a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, can't seem to be able to upload pictures from the phone gallery to the stream. Photo icon just does not respond. Also, the app does not appear in the "share to" options in the gallery. Otherwise, I see the stream, contacts, search function, etc.
Can read and post okay, but lots of functionality missing, like adding tags to follow, unless you switch to not-mobile mode, which I can't seem to switch back to. And not-mobile mode is just the browser version.
The photo button does not work on the Galaxy S5
Not functional on LG G2 as of yet, just takes me to the website on my browser when I select my pod. Fingers crossed for the devs. Thanks for your hard work.
Samsung Galaxy S4, v4.4.2 Android. Unable to post photos. Photo button doesn't work... app is almost useless with this ability.
Nice app

Stream works great, but can't post at all.
Slowwwwww and not optimized for tablets :( (does the job on phone)
App is working great. Stream is coming in fine now. I like how you made the title into the link when sharing. Droid 2 global
Stream hasnt updated since last update : otherwise great app
Has not updated my steam for a week.
completely nonfunctional at present and has been for some time, as is accessing diaspora in the stock browser
I selected the correct pod but nothing happens after this. No prompt to log in. the menu bar shows on the bottom but the rest of the screen remains white. SGS.
I have selected the correct pod I made my account in but I still can't log in. Getting desperate, please help!
Doesn't allow me to upload a picture, view contacts, or view side menu. Has a lot of issues, not worth downloading. Use the mobile version to save yourself a headache.

Every time someone installs this and it fails, Facebook gets another user and Satan gets another soul.
Hi, thanks for this app. Things seem to work fine, except that I can't attach a picture. I click the icon, but nothing happens on my Galaxy Note 3
Its identical to the diaspora web client, only slower.
Yet another "app" that is little more than a window to a website, in this case your diaspora* pod of choice. It does the job, but there's really nothing worth saying about it.
This app works Well in showing Diaspora in all its awesomeness including animation. It is a bit slow to load even with Wi-Fi. I Will like the next update have an ability to scale the Diaspora screen to minimise scrolling on the smartphone screen.
I use diaspora at home but this app wont allow me to sign in without hooking up on some sort of pod... I don't even know what a pod is and I didn't need to sign up for 1 to hook up my account through my computer. . This app should allow people to sign in with their username and password instead of signing up for some pod... this is so confusing. .. At this point this app is basically worthless to me now because I can't even sign in
Pros: Share shortcut, faster than web browser interface Cons: Text formatting. buggy, buttons are too small, buttons sometimes disappear, unable to zoom or download photos. Verdict: Needs work, but is still usable.
One of the most useful features of this app is the Android share function, which allows the user to easily share pretty much anything to Diaspora. Unfortunately this feature is incredibly buggy right now. Trying to share from many apps will simply create an empty post, with none of the content that was to be shared included. Others will include some content, but exclude critical information, like posting a link header without actually hotlinking it to the URL. Ironing out these problems would dramatically increase the usability of this app for myself as well as many other users, undoubtedly.
This is a good solid start on a full web app for diaspora pods. What is lacking here, as in the mobile web interface is the ability to upload photos. Keep up the good work! Steve

I prefer that when the app is loading, the option to cancel it. Sometimes it is annoying. For the rest, good!
Works great aside from one issue (stream loading tends to be slow at times).

Just like the other app I can't share pictures :(
