UPDATE: I have gone through 2 phones and this app is the same. The graphics work. That is the only good part. It is still slow as molasses. You never know how long it is going to take to work. And having to rotate your phone for it is ridiculous. They obviously don't care. I would never pay for this again. A complete waste of money. It had great potential through was never realized. Aukey has a wifi control unit for air conditioners. I'm going to try it. It can't be any worse than this.

Unfortunately most people bought Friedrich units for mobile features and Friedrich had not committed to fixing the issues. Aside from the dated app, the main function of the mobile interface does not work anywhere close to as smoothly as it should.

It really bothers me that it was a selling point of the unit, AND there was an extra charge for the WiFi adapter, and still there's no support or maintenance on the app. It only works about 20% of the time.

It thinks my android needs to be rotated. Garbage app can even tell that i have rotated my pho e. Cant access ac controls through this app because of the message overlay.

It worked all last year and then up till the update this year. Now it will not bring up my units. I don't want to have to write a bad review on amazon. Please fix this asap

Seriously for an exclusive and expensive window AC unit...your app is lagging in almost every aspect! It's ridiculous and disappointing. The rotate to control limitation is really dated and you've obviously no intention to improve it. Very disappointed in my purchase. You could at least open your system to IFTTT support so that other users could create better apps and provide functionality into Echo, Smartthings and more current devices. Shame on you for tricking us into the purchase of your $700+ units!

Web based app does not update correctly. We spend a lot of money for remote control, the least you could do is create an app with native controls for a smoother interface. Remote controls works about 25% of the time on 4G LTE.

Was able to log in once but wasnt changing a/c settings. Now i just get 1 long page when i open app that scrolls forever and you cant type anything.

My ac model number was not on Friedrich setup list..called costumer services about 4 time just to leave messages to supposedly get a call back...which did not happen..after this tried emailing...at this point received email and this person did have not even an idea...she tried to explain to me how to set up my router...waist of time..finally got a rep who got me to open a different gate on my router...did not work...at this point I gave up..decent ac..bad wifi..do not buy model SM14N30..does not work on wif

They have fixed the graphics and bugs on my HTC One M8. I now feel that I can control my A.C. There are only two issues left. One is the time it takes for your commands to take effect. Compared to my alarm/automation system (Vivint) it feels like forever. Second, is that you have to have your phone in Landscape mode for the last screen to work. If you forget to have "Auto rotate" on, it won't work. Why it doesn't rotate on it's own like games, is bizarre.

I can control my units from the website on my desktop, so I know they can be controlled by wifi but just not by this app. It will not show the state of the unit without freezing and needing app to be force closed. Not a well written app.

THIS IS A COMPLETE WAST, AS WELL AS THE A/C UNIT IT SELF. FOR A ONCE UPON LEADER IN THE A/C WORLD AND INCLUDING THE STEEP PRICES THAT ARE PAID FOR UNITS THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO GIVE REFUNDS OR SHUT DOWN. ANTHONY S

Back button doesn't work. Have to force close program

This app cannot even perform the most rudimentary task of adjusting the temperature of my air-conditioner. Pressing the buttons does nothing. If I could give zero stars I would. I am going to return the WiFi control shortly. I bought this Friedrich a/c for this very feature and cannot return it because it is built-in. Really disappointed.

App freezes all the time after setting unit. Back button does not work.

Website app works but not this. Freezes, back button fails, Groups do not show. Big company, Big failure.

This app sucks!!!

It will connect to the unit. But the app itself is horrible. Back button doesn't work in any screen. Have to force close the app to get back to the main screen. Needs major work.

I just received the Ac/heating unit and while it works fine, this app that is supposed to control the Ac Kuhl unit remotely, does not function. I keep getting a message that is requesting me to please rotate the screen? FYI I am using a Samsung Note two with an android 4.3 or 4.4 OS.

This feature needs some serious love and care. It needs to be worked on like yesterday. Word will get around and the product will not sell thus being a failure in Friedrich's behalf.

6-8-14 Update: Still needs a little work. The control is much improved but the graphics are still weak. The fan speed graphic only works 10% of the time. It's guesswork for the speed. The first inception worked fine but had some graphical flaws. The next two versions had the graphics fixed. Unfortunately, it no longer works on my HTC Droid DNA.

I can't get in to adjust my custom schedule. It shows I have a custom schedule, but when I click manage it won't open. Keep it going and make fixes and I will up date my rating. I am super into my new a/c units!
