VMedia Remote

Works OK, on a Android Tablet, works fine on my 2 older vboxes but refuses to see my vMedia quad box

Works great on nvidia shield k1 with vbox quad now I can stream TV to watch outside and picture quality is awesome

Rogers will remain the TOP. vMedia is not up to the challenge. To dethrone Rogers it will take more then just new and innovative technology. It will take a Customer First Corporate Culture very few companies in Canada have.. Telus is the only company I know that has come close to mastering customer service.

Mine connected quickly and worked well but I really that you can't use your tablets keyboard while searching and typing in apps. I was really hoping there would be a feature that lets you do this instead of plugging in a keyboard.

Says no network connection, I guess my VMEDIA internet service is not good enough! Typical Vmedia!

Needs work on the interface. But glad to see it. It's a start.

Just updated to new version. Now it keeps saying my box is not connected. Of cause the box is up and running. Re-booted the box, re-installed the app - did not help :( This app is like VMedia service in general, unfortunately

Will be great when it works with my Samsung GS 3. Controls too crowded to see much right now. Better if it was able to rotate to portrait too. Check Bell's remote app. it's pretty good.

Very difficult to use on a phone. I don't want to have to use a larger tablet. You should make the login clearer that you have to log in with the original VMedia account number and password to access the app. Needs to work in portrait mode. Looking forward to next update.

Would be nice if ui worked better on a phone. Pvr controls went bonkers and not in sync with TV. Otherwise pretty responsive and painless connection to vbox

When I try to use the app I keep getting error message "Please connect to VBox". Unfortunately, there are no instructions or help either online or within to app to explain how to connect my device (Samsung galaxy tablet) to the vbox. I sent support request asking how to connect to vbox but got reply that I need to login with my vbox username and password. Duh, vmedia must think its customers are really stupid. Of course I had already logged in otherwise I could not receive that error message. I like vmedia as a product but the support is atrocious.

It works great however their should be a touchpad for apps and it should be able to turn the box on plus the vbox needs a auto channel change feature

I have the right VMedia credentials but it says incorrect password every time

Should not be put out for people to install untill all things are worked out untill fixed I give this app a 1 star when it works and has no issues then I will give a better ratting

Excellent addition to the vmedia TV service.

It worked for a few minutes then crashed. Now it won't stay running even after a reinstall. Running on an Acer A500 tablet Android V4.0.3 Nice idea but not ready for prime time.

Poor implementation... Failed to connect and no easy way around it. Available in landscape mode only which is the worst dicision when you design a remote application. They crammed all buttons to make it easy.. The result is disastrous. The correct idea is to increase the sizes of buttons as much as possible and put different tabs to make it accessible. Finally, the app does not seem to have been tested across different platforms which explains why text does not appear in proper size for some users.

Love the idea, and the app looks great on my 8" tablet. Nice. HOWEVER, the app is not supported by my Vbox. Poor. So the app is promoted and released but doesn't work with all Vbox devices. Poor. There is no support in the app, playstore, or the Vmedia site that tells you this or much else about the app. Poor. Very frustrating trying in vain to connect to my Vbox. Vmedia support took 2 days to reply to let me know I was wasting my time. Poor. Regarding the app itself, I like the TV guide filters, but I hate the layout which only displays programming for one channel at a time, and forces you to open each channel one by one to see what is playing at any given time. Poor. Why can't I scroll to see across channels? Program info on the app was sometimes very different than Vbox on-screen guide info. Poor. So, the app seems mostly useless to me, but thanks for trying.

Please offer a vertical orientated app that is geared towards phones. This is neat but unusable on anything but a tablet with a large screen.

disappointed. i cant see it well on my samsung phone and its not compatible with my windows surface pro tablet :( love the idea hope it gets tweaked

Doesn't work on Nexus 4. There's no support for "remote app" on VMedia website. Upon opening the freshly downloaded app, it asks for name and password, without any context. I think it is asking for local WiFi network sign in, but despite four correct submissions it won't accept the submission. This is quite frustrating and substandard performance for any Playstore app and output from VMedia. Go back and redo this please.

The app works great even on an android phone. Yes it is small but it hasn't crashed on me and you can get used to it. Can't wait to see an iPad option... Definitely headed the right direction with this. Can't wait for more add ons

Too cluttered on my Nexus 5. Right idea though! Easy to connect to. Keep fine tuning.

Does not connect to vbox. Some instructions wouldn't hurt.

Works quite well. Few small issues so far. The guide on the app does not match the one on tv in some instances.

Won't accept my log in

It would be nice to view the tv guide just like on the vbox and to be able to hide the two bars so you can see the tv guide on a cell phone.

Connects instantly with my vbox and works great for browsing channels on the Galaxy S5

Great app. Defiantly going in the right direction.

This app is very cluttered on phone screens. Good for android tablets if you have one, or good to emulate this app on your pc if you sit at a desk near the TV. The first update was fast, great to see you are working on the feedback quickly!

I can't get my phone connected to the VBox. I called support but they offered nothing. App is useless to me and offers no support.

Would love the option to see a different TV guide arrangement and make the font smaller so I van fit more on my 7 inch tablet
