Midlands Meander for Android
Only thing that I can see on that entire app is the map of the meander
Brilliant!
Just been using your app briefly and one thing that immediately struck me as a major oversight was the inability to use the GPS to locate your current position on the Google maps section. The app would be so much me useful if you could see where you were and what was nearby.
I second the addition of having a link "take me there" on each listing that will open the co-ordinates in Google Maps. Also would be great if you had each restaurants menus included in their listings as Zomato does not work in this area.
I like that you can look on the map, but it doesn't show where you are so you invariably have to use Google maps as well to keep an eye on that. It's also only got a few of the places on it... Eg in Nottingham road it only lists 3 eating entries (of which one was more like a chocolate shop), whereas we went on TripAdvisor and there were 10 listed and ranked... Far more useful! So if your driving along looking for somewhere for lunch like we were, is not actually that helpful. I'll be uninstalling this one!
Crashes on Google Map menu item, pages take very long to load, search returns no results (I must be doing something wrong). Using Samsung Note 4
The Meander data is downloaded onto the device on installation which means no slow-ups when in areas with low or no signal.
Easy to use, and easy to find what you are looking for fast.
Very handy app, helps you find p laces you wouldn't find elsewhere. Due to me having an older phone, it has some lag but I think it's outweighed by how useful it is. Really like the GPS integration with Google maps, but it struggled when using Waze.

Useless unless it can show users location in relation to venues, also shows some places incorrectly ie Piggly Wiggly in Egypt?
