About VLSM 7
Classless Inter-Domain Routing or CIDR = VLSM 7
You only need to place the network address and the amount of host by network you need and the application does the rest.
As a result the application will give:
* Network Address
* Network size
* Number of Bits necessary
* Minimum Host allocable
* Host maximum allocable
* Broadcast address
*Subnet mask
* Available Hosts
USE:
The way to use is very simple.
1. Enter the IP address
Examples:
1. 10.0.0.0
2. 192.168.0.0
3.18.0.0.0
4.172.0.0.0
5.10.4.0.0
2. You write the number of host you need for each subnet. The host number should be SEPARETED by a SPACE.
For example:
1. 500,340,200 - where each numerical quantity represents the number of host is needed for each subnet.
2. 1000 840 600 100
3. 97 60 20
4. 5 9 15
5. 10

Great app. Would be nice if we could move to the next octet using the . (dot symbol) when an octet is less than 3 decimal digits. N.B. Kinda ironic with an app released by Dot7.
