This application shows Mumbai Fares of Rickshaw and Taxi (Non AC) based on Meter Reading provided by user. This app does not need internet connection in your android phone. It uses latest 2012 fares published on Mumbai Traffic Police website for Rickshaw and Non-AC Cab. It also shows Night time fares. Support for other cities and other transport types would be added in future upgrades.

A must have app for any android user in Mumbai. No extra permission needed for installing this and works without gprs.

>> Pros - Offline functionality, quick single screen layout and accurate to recent fares changes (early 2012)... Calculated fare shown almost instantaneously beneath the Calculate button. >> Needs to improve - The animated notification lags noticeably... a minor thing that do not detract from its functionality. I am sure this app looks a lot better on a phone, but a better layout is needed for a tablet size screen, as text appears relegated to the edges with disproportionate buttons/text fields, owing to the screen size. My standard on-screen keyboard also shows mathematical symbols and Tab buttons, but their input is not recognized and they could be removed, I suppose. >> Suggestion - A dropdown menu of the fares atleast till 15.0 to make quick selection. Overall, very promising and looking forward to improved functionality being incorporated in future builds. Android build - ICS CM9 0.5a on a rooted HP Touchpad.
